I think that is the way to go. Plus I believe that they are better rated for airsoft than just a regular Paintball mask or shooting glasses. I have only one good eye so I don't think I would buy anything other than revision... unless what I read before is wrong or I misunderstood.

Check out ESS' line of eyewear too, also ballistic rated, they make some great stuff. I have a pair of Advancer V12's and ICE glasses, I love them both :)

I would check with your local community recommendations.

For example, in my area, lots of games are held on paint ball fields where you are required to wear paint ball goggles for insurance reasons.

I'm a personal fan of the ESS goggles w/ built in fan. I rarely fog up and if and when I do... one click away and the fan goes off and I've got perfect clairity in less than a second.

I believe Revision released their fan version of the Desert Lotus (or however you call it). I have a pair of ESS Striker googles... they fog like no tomorrow unless you remove the foam covering the holes on the top and bottom.

The Revisions are fantastic. And what do you know! There is a Canadian distributor within driving distance :).

There are fake ESS's on the market, just make sure you buy the real ones. I'm a fan of ESS turbo fan. For $144 you can't go wrong.

Maybe ill have to go look at them sometime, goggles im gonna wanna see/try on first i think enless i order right off revisions website.

Spike February 1st, 2011 19:36

No..from surplus stores. For example, ESS advancers are issue for Uk soldiers. Found a European (Irish, i think..) Ebay store selling them new for like $50. In canada, they're up to $150.

opticsplanet has decent prices on real ESS glasses: http://www.opticsplanet.com/s/ESS+ICE/
I just ordered a set from them... there are 5% and 10% discount codes floating around.

but if you're playing at paintball fields, I'd highly recommend JT Flex 8's. You can run the full mask (e.g. when playing CQB) or detach and just run the goggles. The lenses are thermal to reduce fogging.
