Funcional Red dot sight

Hello

Well, I'm pretty much a noob respecting Red dot sights, scopes etc... so here I am, asking to the nice (most of the time lol) guys and girls of ASC for some advice.

Alright, In short I use a low profile Paintball mask that lets me aim down the iron sights, but is not as fast and comfortable as I wish. so am looking for a nice, bright, durable, easy to zero etc... overall a good red dot sight for maximum 80 bucks.

Function over looks, I just want something that gets the job done.

thank you very much, and I use a G36c btw.

:D

try a taco red dot, uhhhh.... support home by going to crappy tires or walmart or MEC
and if you ever convert to gas guns, tasco can take the recoil, also same price or maybe lower
and for the next post...
my brother has one, and here is some review(s), and you cant just judge me by the few threads, like a book you cannot just read the first chapter to see how to end, you must follow through and finish it

Sounds interesting
However I havent heard any good comments about Tasco products and with all respect, you seem to quite "inexperienced" with airsoft .... :p

This is what I use. Green works best during the day and red for night. They do crack if they get hit, but they hold their zero pretty well. The batteries last for a long time (I've been using mine since last september, and it even comes with a spare battery.

For my G36C, I had a Eotech 552 replica, and it worked like a charmed. It was point n' clic.
It cost 55 bucks on Ebaybanned.

the tasco red dot's aint bad and the rail on the G36 is high enough that they work on it.
The one Strelok posted is my choice but every one thus far is good for what you want.

Get the tasco red dot, My friend used it on his Paintball gun, and got hit several times directly in the lens, and it didnt show any signs of damage whatsoever :P

For 50$ you cant go wrong with it...:P

Depends if you want a tube style (like the first link, the G&P one) or a more open sight like the second linked one.

With a tube style sometimes it can give you tunnel vision and make you less aware of your surroundings. Depends how you use it (one eye open, both eyes open, etc)

Yup, I wanted an open at first but they seem rather fragile i dunno. What do you recommend in terms of advantages/ disadvantages from one to the other. :D

I have a Tiberius red dot sight on my AUG. It kinda looks like a scope but it isnt. I believe it's 1X30mm. There made for the old version of the TAC 9 paintball gun. You can get them cheap too. For the open or close type, you should be keeping both eyes open as you look through it. The dot should almost appear as if it was a laser pointing at your target, just only uoi can see it. For durablility, I would go with the close style. More rugged.

I use a M2 aimpoint replica with cantilever and it works like a charm.

Both eyes open mind you, otherwise you will find yourself focusing through the tube
and you will lose your peripherals unlike an eotech or similar open RD.

For $30 you can get a NCStar DAB. I love mine, has 6 green and red options (3 brightness levels for each) no ghosting unless its a really sunnyday and even then its not that bad or noticeable
