G&g cqb-r

apparently, I cannot create a thread in FAQ so I'll post it here.
I got a G&G from cabelas with a clear lower reciever, but since my father is trying to get his PAL and they might investigate, my dad is saying the gun might be considered a replica and charged for it. so is this true that the gun is a replica and "prohibited"

show_stopper35 August 17th, 2010 20:36

Alright, well just wondering cause my dads saying "if the cop wants to be a dick he can charge us" so he's worried about it
but would like some legit feedback.

Chances are, if you bought it at a commerical store, that regularly sells firearms, and you bought it without being asked if you had a PAL, it's 100% legal :)
And even if they're being a dick, they can't charge you with having an airsoft gun with a clear lower receiver. Simply because everyone else has one, they'd have to charge EVERYBODY

Heres what you do:

Don't shoot it in public.

Or,

Just dont use it irresponsibly, ever. Assuming you're underage, don't take it to your freinds house with it in the publics view, don't shoot it in your back yard, dont take it to the park. Its just simple things you can do to prevent any conflict with the police. A lot of people here keep their guns stored in their houses, and shoot it inside or at a designated field.

I havent had trouble yet, and i've got up to 10 guns that are either black or metal.

Be responsible.

a cop can be dick about anything and get you arrested, something that looks gun shaped will only make it easier..but to actually charge you with something would take a bit more.

just don't act like a fool with it, if no senior-citizens bitch about kids running around with assault rifles then the likelyhood of the police coming to visit are pretty remote no?

that looks like the sort of thing you buy in canadian tire (correct me if i'm wrong, i don't live in canada) so it's likely he's seen them and so has everyone else before, meaning it's unlikely that you'll end up charged..
