People not calling their hits?

Try these Paintball BBs.

Interesting idea. RW claims this was tried before and failed, would like to read up further on that.

Discuss.

Fuck that...I didn't spend upwards of $1500 on my gear so that it would get covered in coloured splooge.

I'd rather deal with people who don't call their hits the old-fashioned way. Shoot them again, a lot...or talk to them post-game.

coach August 13th, 2010 08:22

no hits called, I'll dump a 130 round midcap on you or a few Kings at 800psi.

ShelledPants August 13th, 2010 08:29

Pain is a better alternative to paint.

It's perfectly fine if you're shooting some geardo from 150 feet away and he can't feel it because he's running at full tilt.

But in the few instances where I shoot a guy, and I see him SHRUG the hit, I will make it my life's calling to get within an arms length of him and blast two into the back of his thigh.

HeadlessChicken August 13th, 2010 08:33

Yes we do have ways of dealing with hits not being called. But the fact that this product exists tells me that other airsoft communities don't have the same standards as we've set forward. That or more paintballers are making the switch and are making the demand for BB markers.

ShelledPants August 13th, 2010 08:37

Meh, a BB that is designed to break will never go forward with the whole community, it means more fucked guns and more downtime and less reliability.

DarkAngel August 13th, 2010 08:38

This has been brought up before, and no, Do not use em on us.

You shoot me with that garbage and ruin my kit, and Ill ruin your damn gun.

If you dont call your hits, be a friend and Fire for effect, light em the fuck up again. :D

ShelledPants August 13th, 2010 08:43

lol, did anyone else notice that there is no weight attached to this product? How light/heavy are these things?

VooDooPeteK August 13th, 2010 08:45

if you are gonna use these BB's why not just play paintball?

every game has people that don't call hits, its gonna happen. Just light them up more if needs be, stop aiming center mass and start aiming for the fleshy parts on the body that will hurt more.

At the beginning of the season I sent this link to our group as a means of highlighting the need for people to call their hits. YouTube- Маклауд

I would never condone physical contact. It can be frustrating to the point where those emotions arise. Please call your hits, otherwise it is no fun for anyone.

The home page description says .12g so a bit light.

I remember at one game there was a guy who wasn't calling his hits. Finally both teams opened up on him in the middle of the game (friend and foe alike) and didn't stop until their mags here dry. I don't remember him coming back though.

this stuff has already been done discussed and put to bed ever since the first 6mm paint bb comes out in the early 90's the japanease market who by the way comes out with the paint bb before hand, rejected the product like a bad case of crabs, the newer Blamo? bbs jams like a mofo on PTW.

Airsoft is a game of honor it has been for decades before me or even after i'm gone, it's a simple game with simple rules no matter how fucked up it has become or how it evolve can't follow the simple rules then go play paintball. Recently I had a pleasure of playing in Japan rules are simple, No bullshit or politics involve, friendly fire, miss hit call or close discharge are resolved with a bow and handshake instead of multiple curses and threats of body dismemberment, Why can't we follow suit?? are we as North American that fuckin arrogant that we can't man up to mistakes? All this is just a game where we play among friends if airsoft need marked bbs to play then gentleman it's time dinosaurs like me to go out to the pastures. On the matter of people not calling their hits I have 120 nades salute to resove that

Forever_kaos August 13th, 2010 09:35

What's worse is when the bugger bitches or whines in the AAR of how he got lit up despite calling his hits numerous times...
Sure, after everyone starting shooting the crap out of you.
