Prometheus galore- PROJECT COMPLETE (Sept 11, 2010)
I got my packages this morning and was bored, so decided to take pics of all the Prometheus upgrades that I got in the mail this morning. Cost me a fortune, but hope its worth it. Also included is a guarder clear hop up, and a G&P trigger assembly. There are 2 inner barrels in total, Prometheus 6.03mm 363mm and KM 6.04mm 469mm inner barrels. I will be giving my gearbox a nice upgrade with everything below.

if you could do some scientific tests to compare the two inner barrels, and post it up, that would be greatly appreciated!
i.e. shot groupings at 10, 20, 30 feet etc etc. |
that is impossible as the barrels are different manufacturers, bore, AND length

never know when there might be some odd data, ie the shorter one shot better(i know it doesnt work like that but you never know) |
Only problem I see here is the Piston Head and Cylinder head aren't the ARS MASK kit ;)

still, they can be compared to some degree. |

I have yet to install a MASK kit and probably will never, it all depends on what you are looking for... ultra silent piston head means all you hear it the whining of the motor.... |
Do you even game your guns?
What's the point of emptying your bank account on Prom parts? |

Amos, i heard that ure a big Prometheus fan boy.. how does the ARS MASK kit compare with the one from prometheus?
|
Prometheus makes great parts, But the only piston and cylinder heads I'll ever use are ARS :)
They provide 100% perfect air-seal and the integral sorbothane makes them greatly reduce the muzzle noise when you're shooting at someone. |

Improvement in what?
In air seal... over stock... it's a drastic change.. But over air seal with Prometheus parts? Wont be much of a change there.. It quiets it down significantly... I don't have an accurate way of measuring... but next time I install one I'll take a before and after shot and record the noise to see roughly what kind of dB reduction there is. |
