Need battery help :)

Hi all,

Just recently received my BT5A3 (MP5) by Classic Army, and it came without a battery. Anyone familiar with this model and know what it takes?

Does it have a fullstock or a sliding stock?

If it's a fullstock it can take a large battery in the stock, if it's a sliding stock it can take a mini in the foregrip.

It's a sliding stock with a flashlight foregrip. What voltage should I look at? I don't want to wreck the gearbox.

9.6v should be good

I would actually suggest a 8.4v battery with a high mAh. I find that when I run a 9.6v in my mp5 it blows through ammo too fast, and as mp5 mags ( mid-caps at least) don't hold a ton of bb's to begin with you end up changing mags all the time. But in the end its up to you. A 9.6v will give you a higher rate of fire though.

thanks for all the help so far!
