Which gearbox would be better for upgrades?

I got a TM stock and a G&G stock gearbox, which would be the better one to upgrade with better hi speed systema gears, cylinder, cylinder head, TM Piston ,120 spring and powered by a TM EG1000 motor.
Right now thats all I'm planning to upgrade.

Version?

Going by that you said G&G, I'm going to say you're using some kind of M-Series rifle, which I believe use the V2 Gearbox.

From what I also gather, you are trying to make a high speed build rifle? You're using a stock motor but high speed gears. If you do eventually upgrade to a systema high speed motor, I'd strongly suggest a reinforced gearbox. I built a high speed before, and it started doing a number on the stock gearbox I had, and had to downgrade it. High speed has quite a bit of power in it, so it needs some beef behind it to keep it stable. If you do plan to go high speed build entirely, I'd suggest the Modify V2 Torus or the Systema reinforced gearbox.

If you're using a version 3, the only gearbox I've ever heard for being reputable for reinforcement is the Guarder Version 3 Reinforced gearbox. CA is also an option, albeit a little bit more expensive. I cannot comment on the quality though, as I've heard nothing about them.

Just my two cents.

G&G would be the better option, I personaly have one with 8mm bearings and its a nicely built gear box. Not as heavy of a build as a systema or a new CA v2, but it should a prove to be stronger than the TM v2 shell. Plus as stated before, its got bearings. Not the best bearings out there ( try kanzen bearings ) but from first hand experience they will handle a modify s-120+ wich is stronger than 90% of the other m-120 springs out there ( 448 fps- non bore up). On a side note, the bearings will handle the s-120+ spring.....however the piston head will not lol.

Sorry, should have mentioned it was a Version 2 gearbox.

I don't think it matters what gearbox you use if you are running hi speed with a <M100 spring. If you are going to run a higher power spring then G&G might be a better choice due to material quality being marginally better.

All of that being said. I got a cracked TM v2 from THENOOBLORD (hair line fracture along the usual spot) and it's running a hi speed M130 with a aluminum cylinder head only 3k rounds, but i'm also running a STS.

G&G would be a better gearbox shell then the TM since the TM guns are meant to be fired at a lower fps

Get a reinforced systema gearbox shell ;)
