Do they ship to Canada? Cuz I've found so many sites that carry glint tape and shit but won't export.

And the eHobby stuff is not IRR. It's just for the looks (its a flat black background)

There's a couple shops on eBay that carry IR flags and patches.

Tanks for the heads up! That is a scam. They say it's IRR. I was considering purchasing something like that from them.

Hopefully, I am not thread stealing. I just wanted to ask a question. What are the purposes of an IRR patch anyway?

FOX_111 April 21st, 2010 09:40

So you can be IDed as friendly under IR illumination.
It's like a reflective patch that only shine under IR light. So the mujs without IR capability don't see you comming. It won't shine under visible light.

GBear April 21st, 2010 09:44

Okay, thanks. That's very cool.

Fox answered it, but just so you dont think it is just for looks, there are players out there with NV (:D ) and when the IR illuminator strikes these IRR tabs it really does help.
