This is the M14 EBR Thread

So this is just like the AK thread, post your pics of your M14 EBR here! :)

I do not own a M14 EBR but that doesn't stop it from being my favorite gun!

Enjoy! :D

Please don't take this the wrong way, but the batteries showing through the rail system is a turn off for me. I love the gun, but maybe a trip to the buck or two for a nice black balloon would solve that. That is, if it even bothers you. Nice rifle either way!

Hades April 12th, 2010 18:59

That's the old setup from 3 years ago. Batteries now sit in the PEQ/2 hanging off the side, as well I use a harris bipod on it instead of that god awful ugly beast in the first pic. And that is a TM M14 in a KA EBR kit and it weighs in at around 16lbs

Heavier than my G&G GR16R5 by 6 pounds :P

Is It okay to have an EBR kit shipped to you from outside the country, or will it get seized?

Hades April 15th, 2010 11:50

afaik it will get seized seeing it's pretty much a full gun minus the guts and barrel

-Trooper- April 15th, 2010 15:07

I've always liked the look of the EBR, but it seems too heavy.

jonney. April 15th, 2010 19:01

I was afriad of that, what pisses me off is that its okay to order stocks but not an EBR chassis, when the EBR chassis really is just a stock, and has nothing to do with the operation of the firearm.

ILLusion April 16th, 2010 11:56

The EBR is *extremely* front heavy. I hope your reaction arm is the size of Popeye's. LOL
