Any chance of AV by video conferencing?
 

Was wondering if it would be possible to get age verified by video conferencing on webcam? The verifier could see the person applying in real-time and they can hold their drivers license or Gov ID up to the cam for proof of name and of course a matching picture to the face on the cam.

This would make things much quicker and easier.

In a simple answer .....No.

It requires a person to person meeting.

People can fake licenses.
People can fake videos and edit them.
its just a no the only way to get verified is in person with a verifier from the site.

Sorry the only acceptable arrangement is to meet in person.
There are no exceptions to the policy.

You can't fake a real-time video, it would be easier to actually send someone else to get age verified for you than it would be to fake a live video conference, you could also show someone a fake license in person as easy as on cam.

But if it's not acceptable, I'm totally fine with not getting AV on this site as it really doesn't affect anything.

Age verification is not a chore, its fun. Its like your right of passage into airsoft manhood/womanhood. There's cake and all sorts of fun things*. You should not miss the opportunity to fully enjoy the age verification process.

That's OK, you can close the thread then. It's easier to just use another airsoft forum than to try and get age verified here and I can buy a full metal gun easier than getting age verified here, if that makes any sense?
