G36C or L85 A2?

My first AEG is awhile off yet, but I am debating between these two. I know one is a bit more expensive than the other, but I'm just curious on personal experiances with other people and these guns, or any reccomendations. If someone could give a simple comparison of the two, that would also be fantastic.

Regards,
Heyds

g36 is the easiest AEg i ever had to get into for upgrades. It takes about 10 minutes to swap a spring.

I also have 9 of them.

Wowzers,
What would you recommend, KWA or SRC brand?

Probley SRC in my opinion.

Yea, I was leaning towards that aswell.

I prefer the G36 over the L85A2, as for brand I'd take the KWA over SRC.

I'm assuming you've had experience with them both?

Go buy the l85 Sorry to say but but an l85 take 2 seconds to change the fps and you don't need to swap the spring you dont need to unscrew anything you pull 1 pin
and you don't need tools unless you dismantle the gun awesome gun much better then any g36 IMO

I don't own them but i've fired them and cracked open the KWA so ya i've used both.

i just don't like working on the trigger of L85. I am looking at total upgrades over time. if you are going to drop over 400 bucks then I look extreemly long term. I had a L85 and loved it but the trigger was a chore compared to the G36. Both are great and it is really what you like.

I have not used a SRC but I have a CA, TM, and KWA G36 all are about the same for repairs and are swapable for parts. Some have better bodies than others thou as far as stability.

I look forward to the L85 I ordered as well.

hope this helps.

I have been using them since they came out. I am still using the orignal I bought so many years ago.

What issues do you have with the trigger?

It's a pain in the ass to work with/on compared to the G36 trigger.

skalnok March 20th, 2010 17:54

deep which one would you say has the best body?

also i would agree with him in this and say g36c, ive held and used both and from a non mechanical point of view i preferred the g36's

Trust me on this one. G36 trigger is much easier. I don't wish to write about two pages to explain this.

deep in the bush March 20th, 2010 17:55

CA has a great solid body, but any are fine.
