Editing Sales Threads

You cannot edit sales threads once an item is sold.
Prices must remain for future reference.

This should be a STICKY and IN the FAQ / NEWB forums.

I thought it was? At least, it used to be - will take a look. Hell, I think I was the one that originally requested that prices remain in the post after the sale.

So yeah, there is a sticky in the Sales section about not removing pricing. Though it's not very clear. There used to be a For Sale guideline post where it stipulated the formatting and what to do once an item was sold (aka banana) for archiving purposes. May have been lost over the years or after one of the forum upgrades.

Yes! Never, ever delete the prices in your ads. I know, I know, you're proud you finally sold your crap. In the spur of the moment, you might want to show the world your incredible business success, and rejoice by replacing your price by "SPF" or "Sold".

Update: also found it in the Newbie FAQ section (#12). Updated the wording a bit.
