face mask or no?

so, been wondering, what is everyone wearing for face masks? half or full?

is there anyone not wearing a half or full mask, but only eye protection?
if so, any issues with facial marks via head shots or teeth problems?

wondering as im starting to get my gear and am undecided after googling about this, wanted some feedback from you guys please

Mesh mask, wear it loose over the googles. I've seen one guy get a tooth shot out in about a decade. It was a random bad luck thing in a woods game. Don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time myself.

I suggest wearing at least a half mask ... you don't want a chipped tooth. Better safe than sorry to avoid $$$ dental work.

No face mask. I wear sisu mouth guards top and bottom

I didn’t wear anything over my face for about a decade. I myself have had countless bleeders, marks and two teeth chipped. After having my front tooth repaired I was told subsequent strikes could kill the tooth. I have seen at least four other teeth taken out over the years, still thought, the odds are low.

The main issue with face masks is the transference of heat and breathe. You really want to limit the amount that gets pushed up into your eyewear causing fogging and condensation. At present I wear Oakley M-Frames with a slash strap and helo kit depending on if the field requires full-seal or not. As for my face I wear a mesh half mask that I can pull up out of the way to use my hydration system, etc. Some players also use a mouth-guard. Full masks can’t be changed or adjusted, and if they fog, you’re really screwed.

1 Tigris masks are cheap and you can trim them to fit very easily getting rid of the excess. I pair that up with Oakleys and they don't fog. They may fog if you panic breathe, but being able to use irons and bull-pups with the setup is decent.

I wear full indoors and out doors depends on who is playing some times i wear shooter glasses and that's it, sometimes if i hear 1 or 2 people talking about headshot I'll wear a mouth guard if its something like Battlefield or Op Valor or anything with 80+ players i will wear full.

Always wear a helmet. Goes without saying try to find a low profile one.

Eye pro and mesh mask for your mouth are a must unless you want broken teeth and fat lips.

Tactical beard.
Never had an issue.

And good dental insurances, in case.

Always wear a helmet? What for? I wear either e recon-wrap or a boonie hat. If I don’t need the extra weight on my neck, then I don’t have it. I’d wear a helmet for night vision maybe.

I've had someone full auto me in the back of the head once. This was when I was walking back to spawn. 5-10 shots started on my head and they sprayed my back. I have no idea who it was to this day but im glad I wore a helmet.

I have a half mask for indoor that attaches to my helmet, but I hate wearing it. I plan to try the mouth guard idea next I play

Wear a loose mesh mask over your goggles. In the past ten years, I've only witnessed one guy get a tooth shot. It was an unlucky occurrence at a game in the woods. I don't want to find myself in an undesirable situation. heardle game
