Nice impressions:) Sometimes I think I would like to travel to different countries just to meet Airsoft players and talk shop:) Somebody should start a worldwide convention for us, maybe in HongKong:)

Take care,

"Dude.. no on the boot blousing.. takes away from the look? A lot of guys when given the choice will not blouse boots in the field. For CSOR specific, how many CSOR Operators have you seen with bloused boots in the field?...."
I was just shooting alongside some CSOR guys and there boots were bloused, it a dress thing and a comfort thing, why would you not blouse your boots? then they just get wet or shit gets in your trousers.

I'm at connaught range shooting with them and they were doing work ups some in AR others TW, they were all wearing proper boots and were bloused

Here's what I'm seeing.

When fast-roping, blowing doors, or breaking shit etc. : Unbloused trousers.
When they're on the flat range other than Petawawa and generally within view of Big Army pers or where they'll be seen in public: Bloused trousers.

During Expo 150, everyone had bloused trousers.

IMO, this debate is ridiculous.
An impression don't depend on a soldier personal choice.
Look at pictures of them, wear the same gear as them and try to fit in.

It's all about the little details that makes an impression great. All they want to do is get it just right so that it can be the closest to the real thing as possible.

I'd be less worried about the blousing of ones pants, which is a non-issue, and more concerned about the strange helmet.

True but when there's two members who have a vast amount of knowledge on the subject from personal experience saying that there's situations where either is acceptable, I think that's as close to real as you're gonna get regarding this issue.

Well... if we're going talk about getting the impression "just right" I'd also suggest hitting the gym. I only know a hand full of guys who've passed their assulters course, but none of them are skinny dudes. Hell, most reg force infanteers have some degree of pipage....Just sayin' ;)

As for the pants thing, Im with Fox... re-donk-culous.

That's what happens when you don't look out for phone lines.
