best MP5?

What the best MP5 manufacturer in your opinion?
And I don't mean in terms of mechbox, I mean in terms of exterior, hopup, less bb feeding troubles, materials quality, etc.

Depending on your price range.

I'd go for the Systema TW5. Steel body. Fibre everything else.

CA B&T for all metal. If you don't mind plastic go TM

Crunchmeister May 26th, 2009 15:07

For metal, CA and ICS have beautiful externals. CA looks better though IMO.

For plastic, it's hard to beat TM.

And well, if you can pop the $1500 for a Systema and can somehow get one, then they're the all around best for externals, none barred.

CA for the win.

I will add another vote for CA. Systemas and TMs are over-rated and ridonkulously expensive for something that the CA does better.

Totally agreed. CA is the best you can get and the best value for your money for a quality, all metal gun.

I have a G&G MP5 & I think the details compare very closely to a real MP5. Several friends of mine thought I bought a real MP5 when I was testing it at my local gun range.

Crunchmeister May 26th, 2009 17:13

Hey, no doubt there. I've seen both black and clear upper G&G MP5s and IMO, they're excellent guns considering the price. Actually, with the exception of a couple of really cheap ones, all the airsoft MP5s I've tried were nice guns. But in a a side to side comparison for weight, feel, performance and durability of internals, it's really hard for any other stock MP5 AEG, particularly plastic ones, to compare on equal grounds with a stock CA.

Bad idea. I imagine if someone did that, everyone would be "man that's so f-ing cool I want one" when they see it but then when you actually start shooting it down range everyone will just start laughing and teasing you.

While my MP5 is a Marui, it has a CA body.. and I'll throw in another vote for CA externals.

I was actually testing ammo for some of my real handguns for an upcoming match & wanted to see if anyone could tell it from the real one. My friend didn't know till he pulled the bolt handle back & said WTF? It was funny.

FPS doesn't really matter...

for a 12 dollar spring you can set your FPS anywhere from 250-500+ not that you would ever want anything close to that
