Scratch Built Troy CQB SPC Advisor 14.5

So it's been something like two years since I started building this gun. It has evolved alot and just came to its final state tonight when I installed my last part; a systema mag catch.

It started out as a Tokyo Marui SR-16 that I've customized, swapped and changed and rebuilt enough so there's nothing stock left in this gun.

It's final state is a Troy CQB SPC Advisor 14.5inch with a Magpul MIAD grip, Magpul Rounded Triggerguard and an HK417 butt stock.

You can check out the evolution over on my website: CASCUS

Enjoy the pics;

Don't bother with the quality of the pics.

Shoots about 400fps, the FET makes it amazing with an excellent trigger response.

Here's what's in it:

  • King Arms Sealed Hop-Up
  • SystemA Gearbox
  • Prometheus 6.03mm Tightbore Inner Barrel
  • Prometheus 6mm Bearing Axle Hole
  • Prometheus 6mm Sintered Alloy Axle Hole

  • Systema Irregular-Pitch Spring M120 Oil Temper
  • Systema All Helical Gear Set III ( Torque Up )
  • Systema Shim Set
  • 9.6v 3300mAh NIMH
  • Vector Arms FETv2 with Active Braking

EXTERNAL:
  • King Arms Troy Metal Body
  • PRI Flip-up front sight w/ gas block
  • HurricanE HK417 Crane Stock

  • Systema Steel Mag Catch
  • Bomber Airsoft Troy rear flip-up sight

That is a delicious build with an amazing selection of parts.

Kudos on great work.

EDIT: Stop jerking off to my avatar!

very nice but i think you should swap out the scope for a G&P aimpoint.

Brotha Cassius, that is one sweet build!

T7: I didn't read what you said, I was jerking off your avatar as usual. :p

bobotea: that's actually an Aimpoint CompM4 replica, it's not a scope.

That must have cost and arm and a leg, and other body parts.

About 1200$ for the gun plus 150$ for the 10 mags plus about 100$ for the CompM4 plus 70$ for the V-Tac sling; total is around 1520$ or so.. Not so bad considering the amazing result it gives me :D

I suppose. Just sounds like a lot.

I paid 50$ for a box of 10 Dark Earth King Arms plastic 120rounds mag....after Brakoo told me they were shit...so yeah mate you have the right to nag me with it...

Anyways, those plastic mags ended up containing only 55rounds or so and the spring was so weak I was always having a hard time firing because it couldn't feed properly. Those metal mag always feed, contain the right amount of BBs and even have a follower so I fire all my rounds.

Now all I need are magpuls since I never received them even though I ordered directly from magpul...

Cassius, that's a heck of beautiful gun!!!!

Now, which one do you love more, your SCAR or your Troy CQB SPC Advisor 14.5?

Hahahahaha...
