where to buy multicam
is there any place that carries multicam in the toronto area.
|
DOubt it, but there are a few options, some more expensive than others. DO a search on FelixTactik I think it's called (PM The_Cat on ASC if you can't find it), he distrubutes multicam BDUs made from replica material, is close enough to the Crye stuff to the untrained eye, and you can get a full set of top and bottom for about $140cdn. Then there's Drop Zone Tactical, BDUs made from real Crye material, cost you around $300 for pants and top, but are 100% worth the price! Farmboy (One Shot Tactical) is the guy I deal with for my multicam, and he kicks ass as a retailer, with decent prices and excellent service. And I think he's around Toronto somewhere.

I ordered my multicam from 204 Tactical, cost me $115 plus tax and shipping for the pants and jacket.
|
yeah i saw the uniforms at 204 but is it the real multicam or replica
|
I got mine from Seals Action Gear, its made from CRYE material. Cost me about $220.00. I know its not from Toronto but they will ship it to you fast.

It's replica, but a decent one for the money. If you want real Crye fabric, then Drop Zone is your best bet. They don't use the same cut as the repro or the real Crye as Brian uses his own cut for all his unforms. Dave's Surplus and Tactical used to carry HSGI MC and a couple guys I know bought some. It's Crye fabric complete with IRR treatment as well. Just FYI, the IRR treatment makes you glow light a lightstick if there is a little moonlight out. I saw that one unfold last year and was glad my repro stuff doesn't have it. |
Daves surplus and mlti cam is ugly

We have both Drop Zone Ops clothing and Recce Smocks in Multicam as well as HSGI gear. :D
No longer in the Toronto area, out by CFB Trenton now. Well worth the drive though!! |
I would say Ebay is your best bet. Provided you know what size you are after. If you know anyone who has some and could try it on, then Ebay it. I have seen quite a few sellers with real Crye Precision for pretty good prices.
As for the whole Dave's surplus and Multicam being ugly WTF? Daves can be a little pricey, but there customer service is top notch and they stock a huge selection of items. Multicam, ugly? it is easily the best MASS produced multi enviroment camo around. Its not the best for the canadian rainforrest's, but aside from that is brilliant. Keep in mind that its meant to outfitt a rapidly deployable force who have little time and cannot necissarily afford to assemble multiple geographically specific outfitts. |
Find a web site.... sell repro multicam. no need 110 so much...
http://www.geocities.com/bomber_b17/main.html the seller said most retail shop in west canada is from him. |
