another stupid question

even though im 99% sure BDUs are allowed, but i want to ask u guys one last time

my tactical response uniform woodland and pair of nomex gloves got held by the customs

seriously, if this package is legit, iunno why the fuck they are holding it

oh and i just wanna remind everyone here even though u guys probably know this a long time ago already... if they catch u once, they'll pay extra attention and maybe even hold your future packages

they are so freakin' pissing me off

Did you get a letter that says your package has been detained? There's no point complaining about it unless you've gotten the letter. It's quite normal for packages to take a while to clear customs, given the volume of goods that cross the border every day.

they held it since the 20th
no letter right now. wt im wondering is if the package is legal
i 've talked to the cbsa and they say packages that are legit takes 2-4 weeks the max to process (so if anyone here has had their packages held for this time and received them finally, there's your reason)
even then it seems like these days they c my package and they divert it onto another conveyor belt heading to doom or sth

Eeyore September 7th, 2009 21:58

For some reason alot of packages arriving at Mississauga have been delayed lately by customs. Not sure why this is but I have come to expect at least a two week wait for customs to release my package.

Skladfin September 7th, 2009 22:20

where do you live? lower mainland? I know a couple guys from Lower mainland that are having stuff getting held for a longer than normal period of time at the moment.

And they are all legal.

Vancouver customs is just being more of a bitch these couple of days I believe.

ravan318 September 7th, 2009 23:05

yea i live in lower mainland
this is really starting to piss me off

Skladfin September 7th, 2009 23:19

lets see the tracking #

Bissa September 7th, 2009 23:21

there are people on this forum that have had things held fro as long as a month before it continued on its way.

ravan318 September 8th, 2009 00:38

and yet it's amazing how in hk there's like couple million people living there and they dont have this problem

surebet September 8th, 2009 00:43

My current record is 92 days from order to reception. Granted, it came from EB so there is a built-in delay right there, but still, at least 60 days in customs.

ravan318 September 8th, 2009 00:51

why dont u talk to them?
if i really dont receive my shit this week or sth im gonna talk 2 the shipper, then to the customs once a full month has been fulfilled

i'll b really pissed if im u

wtf's wrong with the customs. no numbers for us to go after our package?! u should really check up with the customs
they might have lost it or sth and not say a word
remember this is canada
that's how they do things here. take as long as they want, then "dont worry about it" even when there's a problem

and worst yet cuz there's no way to contact them they can do whatever they want
very irresponsible management system doing some heavy responsibility work

Because trying to talk to customs is pretty much like trying to fuck a brick.

Ah if only it were that simple, EB Airsoft's customer service is the worst I have ever heard, items coming broken, not allowing to be returned.
Not answering Emails or Phone Calls.... the list goes on.

ravan318 September 8th, 2009 01:01

i buy from uncompany as my primary source
some shit are expensive, but i hvae trust in them
if u guys have reasons to convince me not to please do so
after all im new into buying aeg and knowledge is never too much

Amos September 8th, 2009 01:08

buy from redwolf or Ehobby, their prices are cheaper and their shipping is much more reasonable.

ravan318 September 8th, 2009 01:12

ehobby's stuff are much cheaper

Hey raven, dude I used to work at a small postal outlet where peoples packages came to be picked up. And no jokes I cannot explain what they do at customs, I seen shit come that had its packaging coming out and then yellow cbsa tape barely holding it together... then in complete view it says on it stroller! They held this ladies stroller for two months then sent it half ripped apart!

Anyway thats really not common I'm just saying that things are often tangled up with no cause or explanation. See its the recievers job to know its countries laws, the shipper has no obligation to understand our nations customs procedure. And thats all it is, procedure. They will not hustle to look for yours and move it out after a phone call.

ravan318 September 8th, 2009 03:20

it's really stupid
almost like they hired people who's never been exposed to modern technology and have them as customs

"woooh it says ps3..what is that? can i put it in water..??"

The Saint September 8th, 2009 09:39

Sufficient whining, move on.
