M1 Garand

Hi, Im a big noob and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get any World War 2 themed airsoft guns. Preferebly an M1 Garand.

age verification + custom order through a retailer. only way possible.

You can make one for yourself. Google M1 conversion airsoft.

I've made one, from an M14.

Dart May 3rd, 2009 23:12

there is a company that makes the m1. Mar something or other *not tm* there is a review for it in the reviews page. It seems a bit like a gas hog though, you have to put more gas in it every 12 shots ish.

don't know if there is an AEG one yet.

That would be the Marushin.

Dart, You're thinking of Marushin.
And only Conversion How-to's are available for the m14

Why do you say that? Thompsons, MP40's, MP44's, and 1911's are easily acquired. Along with probably many others.

If you have the cash you can get anything you want.

just don't get smokey's =p

Lol Very well said. Try telling that to the guys at the boarder though.

I personaly love ww2 stuff my self but yah it does seem in limited supply or really $. Would love to get my self a B.A.R, or a MG42 but I don't think its happening any time soon.

Actually, there's quite a few conversion kits readily available from various individuals who make them on a full time basis.

The WW2AA.com boards have a few guys, 2ndbat and tommygunner to name a few, who make EXCELLENT replica AEG's. Not just M1's... lot's of different options, from Lee Enfields to Grease Guns. These guys will do custom builds as well.

Here's a great example of a forum dedicated to custom built WWII airsoft guns.

How-to's are available as well, even from a local site...

The Gas Garand is sweet to say the least, but a hassle to field correctly. It actually ejects the little cartridges, and, while historically accurate, are very easily lost, much akin to shell ejecting bolt action guns.

I even took my own stab at it.

Here's my attempt.

however, meanwhile how lucky i am! cuz i found a tanaka's CANADIAN version browning hi-power here,i dare say tha there is no more....

Just about any WWII AS gun is available to an AV buyer in Canada with a little patience.

Trust me on this one.

Ok, but which retailers? This is the problem im having. Nobody will ship guns to Canada and I dont want any clear stuff.

Lawdog May 9th, 2009 15:09

Get age verified and have a look at the retailers that operate through this site. I do not think you would have a problem finding what you want with 15 minutes of searching after you are age verified.

Without AV I suspect you will be unsuccessful.

Don't just skip when I say AGE VERIFICATION. Get age verified then you'll see all the options you have.
