Does anyone know about this retailer? Are they legitimate? I think his name is Jon.

cbcsteve February 7th, 2009 18:23

Interesting site

But most of the items are overpriced

Optic sights - 2x cheaper from Dealextreme and I recognized some of them actually being from deal extreme

Gear - You can get most of them from Ehobby or ebaybanned

BBs - Cheaper locally

Clearguns - Not even close to the quality of the ones we have on here

Shirley February 7th, 2009 18:32

http://www.airloft-services.net/apps...ts/show/120244

Wow 170$... That's hilarious.

- SNiPE - February 7th, 2009 18:35

Id just really like to know if that retailer is legitimate..

So, it's not -bad- per say.

It's just easier to shop at redwolf. :)

EDIT: BBBastards for $14...?

pusangani February 7th, 2009 18:47

WOAH! they make custom guns too! omg :D

Err...... Their FAQ looks familiar and is incredibly dated (CCRA?!). Looks like they stole it from someone, but I can't remember who.

You're right, I remember seeing that girl in the bikini on another airsoft website that was "fishy".

Scalpel February 7th, 2009 19:34

My first AEG was purchased from them, well before I was even interested Airsoft. Unfortunately for me I spent $300 for a gun with a plastic mechbox, and had it for a year before getting into Airsoft and the discovery of said cracked plastic mechbox. Despite being ignorant about the quality of the gun I was purchasing at the time, I do feel that I was completely misled and taken advantage of.

Thats pretty much the answer

-Snipe-, sure they can be Legit. But quality seems to be lacking I mean Scalpel's story pretty much speaks for itself. May your plastic gearbox rest in pieces. :P

Amos February 7th, 2009 20:21

Seems the owner of that site is monitoring this thread...

Alot of what you guys complained about has changed prices lol.

gunscythe February 7th, 2009 20:32

they don't look legit. They're running it off of a freeweb. Can't afford $100 for a website? I'm suspicious.

maybe that's a good thing! If they actually monitor prices that are available to us from various sources, then they can be a somewhat competitive alternative.

but still, aren't .25 bastard BB's $10 for 2000? the site change it from $14 to $11

coach February 7th, 2009 20:48

Guess they are checking. Can't spell either.

They better hope they have the bandwidth cause there are enough ASC users to put them over their limit. :D

And I laugh at their no right-clicking warning. Bwahahahahahahaha!

LOL! I guess we've been challenged. :p

From $14 to $11 to $8.50?

The Saint February 7th, 2009 21:21

If they're respecting the need to limit sales to 18+ individuals, it's not our business to "challenge" them.

Of course, that doesn't mean we can't point out unreasonable pricing, as we've done and they've taken into account.

Amos February 7th, 2009 21:53

Wow... The owner of that site seems pretty hostile...

Oh well, Aslong as he delivers what he says he does and doesn't sell to any underage kids all seems good here.

Then buy from them and you'll know.

Real easy. And you'll have a first-hand answer to your question.

And their FAQ is straight form ASC. Something tells me they didn't ask for permission.

Least they could do is update it by about 5 years, but I don't think they could come up with one themselves. It's far easier to usurp the work of others.

pusangani February 7th, 2009 22:07

Heehhee he referred to Red Dragon airsoft, so he's aware of our run ins with that fag Jarek too, perhaps they are furry buddies? or maybe all the shitty "retailers" have a forum where they all go to talk about ASC, lol buyairsoft.ca is prolly a moderator on there.

That's because the guns they sell are shit.

End of thread.

If you want to order a shit gun from them, then you'll receive a shit gun, it's quite a simple conclusion.

mcguyver February 7th, 2009 22:15

Their hours of business are from 3pm to 10pm weekdays.

Are they in school before 3pm, and does their Social Studies teacher know what they do?

Amos February 7th, 2009 22:26

Aww I was kinda 1/2 expecting another bold red text hostile statement :(

Ah well, BB Bastard ammo on there is nice and cheap... But he'll probably tack on an extra 3-4 dollars in shipping to make back the money he's subtracted.

Bissa February 7th, 2009 22:33

"We will match any advertised Canadian retail price!" well, at least you can get them to drop their prices

Scalpel February 7th, 2009 23:20

Easy now, you are polluting the thread.
I sincerely believe that you are lucky if you are not taken advantage of if you purchase from airloft, or any other name they go by. Their site has change several times in the last 2 years. From Kijiji, a few other permutations and then this new'ish one. There are a few new names that are involved, but the original place of business remains the same. I would recommend that they represent themselves openly on ASC if they want to conduct business with the members here. Unfortunately I believe that this would only contribute to their unflatering reputation.

Yannos February 7th, 2009 23:21

Look dude, you have a question?
Go on the Newbie Tank section and post your question in full detail.

Before that tho use the search function here SEARCH To see if you can find your answers,

That said, like Pusang said, Google is your friend too.

Don't post random question in thread that is not dedicated to this.

You can't order airsoft guns from out of Canada they'll be seized by customs and destroyed. It also could lead to potential fines, and your name being added to a black-list.

I really should have that little paragraph on Control+V

Yes. Their FAL is good, I know a member of this board who owns one and he loves it. I trust his opinion because he's one of the better gun docs on ASC.

My other three experiences with King arms are as follows:

68rnd Metal KA Mags for M4: All of mine feed flawlessly, but 2 needed a minute with a pair of pliers to get the mag to seat correctly in the magwell.

King Arms Long Lightweight Silencer: Sturdy, light, good foam. I like it.

King arms M4 Mag BB loader: Worked great until it broke 4 months later. Now I have a Marui one. We'll see how long it lasts.

Any other questions?

While I understand why you were flaming him: Without providing any answers, to him you came across as mean and just as uninformed as he was. He asked a question, lots of people replied, no one answered his question. But he kept asking it. He may have been a douche, but answering questions is how the forum came to be.

Ratatuoille: Next time use google.com and our own search engine on the forum to read up on this info. If you don't find it. Keep looking. -Then- post a question -once- in the newbie tank in your -own- thread. Most people don't like having a thread hijacked because it makes searching for their own problems later on hard to find in the search engine.

For instance, people looking for info on king arms will get this thread in their search engine, but the title is www.Airloft-Services.net and they'll skip over it. Then the vicious cycle continues. Best of luck.

What country are you from?

Perhaps there's another forum that would better suit your needs...

Since you're not from Canada, and it appears you speak french.. would it be safe for me to assume you're from France?

(You really should fill out your profile location... People will answer your questions alot more clearly. If you're in Canad and asking about buying from KA... We would tell you that's impossible, but if your location said France... We would just tell you the right answer)

But obviously everything I'm suggesting just makes too much sense... So please, feel free to clutter up these forums with more inane banter :D

Those clear spring shotguns aren't bad.

They're a direct clone of the old Marushin (or Maruzen.. I get them confused alot) system.

I can agree to that!

When my battery died and my GBB was acting, a friend offered me to use the painted wal-mart shotgun and it was one hell of a springer, maybe I should do a review on it.

Although clear they are easy to use and great to manueveur in CQB especially the nonstock verison. They shoot above 300 FPS on .20 and have a slam fire. Mags are super cheap and you can easily replace it with another shotgun.

Best feature is that how many you pump the shotgun is how many BBs it loads to shoot. Although 3 bbs is the best you should shoot it at, anything more and it would be a nice spread up close but after 15 feet it goes all over the place.

+1 to that. Op Slap a Ho at the Mill was a pistol/shotgun game only. I have never seen so many walmart shotties at a game before, and they rock.
