Does anyone know how infrcation points works?

You fuck up, you get them, they expire after a while.
Get too many and the autoban kicks in.

You do bad things on the forums, mods give you points.
Get enough and you get temp banned. Get enough again and you get temp banned again. I think the third or fourth ban is a perma-ban.

It should tell you when it/they expire in your User CP.

Eat your vegetables, excersise every day and don't smoke. You shouldn't expire too quickly, unless you get hit by a bus or something.

Not all points expire, but some do. Visit your profile by clicking on your username and view your infractions for more info.

I still would like to know what is the amount needed for the autoban to kick in, though I've been a good boy and only got dinged by bumping a thread a while back a day early (not enough coffee lol).

I think I got up to five once.

Well that's the idea of points. Now that you know, you won't be bumping your sales threads early anymore. Simple as that. Stay in line and don't get any more points, and you're all good.

The rules for classifieds are clearly posted at the top of every Classified section. You should take a moment to read them.

mine just came off a few days ago :)
dont worry about it. they will expire in time and all will be ok. just dont do anything else against teh rules, and you wont get a ban:)

If you posted on a Wednesday, then you can bump it every Wednesday until it sells or you find what you're looking. That's 1 week.
