Friend got fooled on purchase??
 

my friend bought the JG m4a1 off buyairsoft.ca (in pictures you can clearly see its a DPMS and not a JG)

but upon close examiation when he opened up the package with me (note my friend just turned 18 its his first aeg dont critisis please i know its rubbish lol)

Take a picture of the magazine it came with for me please.

The Styrofoam it comes with looks like the stuff that comes with the JG guns... but that Styrofoam is probably mass produced and sold to all the clone airsoft makers.

I'm not sure... I know JG re-sells to alot of companies that just stamp their name on it and send it out the door.. but I'm not sure about DPMS.

Like the clear Sig552 that is aviable on many canadian websites, it's a JG, but Cybercrap took it and renamed it using trademarks... but its is a JG inder all that make-up!

Need a better pic please. I think DPMS is a JG rebrand, most likly they just stamp there little tiger head on it.

I carry DPMS branded JG M4A1's, but they are all black.

It's very possible.

DPMS also makes M4s for WALMART that looks similar to that.

Take off the handguards and part of the delta ring and take a picture for us.

The fine print under the description is this: Manufacturer- Jing Gong/DPMS/palco sports. From that I'd say it's a rebranded JG but that's just me.

you mean some clearcrapsoft company makes a DPMS branded M4 for walmart. DPMS makes firearms not toys.

So I don't mean to thread jack, but the Walmart AEGs are infact DPMS thus, they are JG?

maybe, maybe not but most dpms at walmart are really scrap because of low metal parts (what i think)

Certainly interesting as a concept anyway, considering they are only about $100. Even if you had to swap out the receiver for something more...black.

Walmart guns are not in the same league as JG. That's why they're that cheap. They're just junk and not compatible with anything.

I purchased one to check it out, when I took it apart I found that the outer barrel and the upper receiver are in fact ONE piece.

Had a look at a WalMart gun the other day. The mechbox and gears were plastic.

again just because it says DPMS on it that means jack all. they make firearms not toys. TM could make a replica of DPMS if they wanted it is just a trademark.
