HFC .44 Savaging Bull Revolver
Okay some may cringe upon hearing the HFC name, thats fine. If you would like to post, no trolls please, prefer it be someone with revolver experience or feedback on editing my review.
Short and sweet here we go http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/phot...11963_6745.jpg External Qualities Front Barrel - ABs Resin Plastic - 8 inch long brass barrel Back Body - ABs resin Plastic - Metal Hammer - Metal Trigger - Metal sights - Metal cylinder holder - Cylinder magazine ABs plastic - Plastic Handle http://photos-h.ak.facebook.com/phot...11959_5900.jpg Internals - No hop-up - 8 inch Brass barrel - Bottom propane accepted chamber - Super Gas efficient, 5 second gas fill = 80 to 100 shots - 6 Brass bullets Performance CQB Battle Only Report - 1 Month ownership If you were actually thinking of ever gaming a revolver anything longer than 4 inches will actually work well. I gamed this at the Ontario TTAC CQB Arena (Hosted by Brian McIlmoyle) At first I thought, bah 280 FPS with a fixed hop-up revolver I will get owned. But man did the 8 inches of power helped with the accuracy. - 30 feet effective range 10/10 hits - 50 feet I can hit a man size target 8/10 - 70 feet+ I can barely hit it sometimes I can hit if I predict the right random spin it gets Although only 6 shots you can get the 24 shot clip which is only like $12.95 USD. With 6 shots I only got enough to hit at most 2 people. And yes you can actually get kills with this so long as you are used to the sighting. Just ask Kohaku's welts on his arm how it feels. PROS - CQB friendly - Badass 8 inch Dirty Harry feel to it - 24 shot magazine allows for greater ammo - 6 brass bullets loading them up feels realistic - Gas efficient over 80 shots, 5 second fill CONS - Plastic handle feel - Cannot whip the ammo cylinder in, must use hand to put push it back in - Cannot be gamed outdoors - No hop-up adjustment |
I'm holding one right now. 6". Pretty good finish. Comforable.
Not bad for the price. Not balanced very well. Cylinder is a bit tricky to close. It's decent for a lower priced gas revolver. |
How much and where?

But its something you don't have to worry about breaking and crying for it And I swear by its CQB abilities and people are surprised if you got them with it |
I need one for cqb. People don't like my current revolver.
|
where can I get the 24 rounders?

Great review. |
there's no hop up in this gun, ive looked down the barrel and nothing is there.
oh, and rear sight is adjustable oh and thanks for the link |

And the rear sight is not adjustable, I tried it with the screw and it just makes it loose the rear sight is fine the way it is anyway Quote:
|
no i meant that there isnt any hop up at all. Not even a fixed hop up

Is there upgrades like a tightbore barrel for example for this? |
Is it possible to remove the grips on these HFC revolvers and replace them with one from a RS or something like this?

I'm not really sure, but is there a way where you can turn this to make the FPS higher?

Woah you took it apart so fast haha
Anyway I would suggest against increasing the FPS as after googling I could not find any but the Revolver is fine the way it is as its gas efficiency is pretty high already. Be careful if you want to up the FPS yourself though cause like every gas gun if you overdo it the pressure may be too much and it will blow up, literally. |
i hope those 24 rounder shells pass customs
and shortyUSA doesnt ship to Canada =( |
Steve saves the day again!
http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=243 They ship to Canada yay! $17.99 USD shipping they have the 24 rounder and 6 Copper shells 24 Rounder is whooping $9.99! Buy 2 or 3 or 10! and you are set for TTAC or any CQB, I guarantee it. As long as you trained your shot well you can hit people Now I regret not keeping two for myself to go "Lone Ranger" style |
awesome
do those things pass customs? |
wait, they probably do
|
Hey Steve, do you know if they ship via USPS to Canada?

fires inconsistent on double action. 190~230 FPS on double action and 280 consistant on single action.
wonder why |
That we will have to investigate someday
As for USPS I am unsure Best to email the guys Dao, sometimes they are nice and do USPS, as for the passing shipment I am sure it can just tell them to remove anything that says "GUN". Like HFC 24 Rounds is what it is and should be named that HFC Revolver Rounds, now that will screw you over |
