All China Made MG34! 700USD!

Not sure if everyone knows about this but I thought I better put link up:

http://www.rsov.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276

At last, a proper Support AEG for zee Germans!

It will be good to get a proper AEG other than the short ranged, 50 round, AGM MP40!

Donster August 20th, 2008 11:07

oh ya baby! hopefully by the time i get my Tanaka Mauser Kar98k (xmas) they will have these and i can see them at my first WWII event!

kalnaren August 20th, 2008 11:07

Nice, but the $700 price tag really hurts.

beastor August 20th, 2008 11:25

I know, but at least its better than the 2100 USD for the Ultima MG42's....

baker_Jeff August 20th, 2008 11:37

Hmm that is delicious.

BootYourFace August 20th, 2008 11:47

I wonder how the mag's will work. Throw a paintjob on there (unless they do it before releasing, and it'd be pretty nice to have with a german kit. I will buy.

beastor August 20th, 2008 13:15

Thats what all AEG prototypes look like when seen in pre-production photos and on at display at trade shows: a nice shiny silver with any plastic parts black. rest assured it will have a paint job for the production model.

Although the link doesnt say, it will be using a drum mag (hopefully with over 1000 round capacity)

Hell, if someone had one for sale right now it would be as good as sold to me.

One man's neat gun (or another man's junk) is another's must-have, of course.

ColtFarmer August 20th, 2008 14:40

mmm MG15 conversion...

MrEvolution August 20th, 2008 17:44

Meh.
Selousscoutts made a better one I think. Photos in the Aug 4 FR after action.

Drunk_Albertan August 20th, 2008 18:52

If there's anyone that can import that, one is sold R.F.N.

Rainer August 20th, 2008 20:05

I'd buy two easy. Would be nice to see a FG-42 early version or MG-42.

yeah, you deffinaly knew when that thing was fireing... :S

ColtFarmer August 20th, 2008 21:24

selousscouts results of airsoft are not typical, actual results of awesome guns may vary.

Kingsix August 20th, 2008 23:28

I rather see an MG-42 XD

beastor August 21st, 2008 08:04

Whats a MG42 XD?

Nah, I am cool with the old school retro cool of the 34, the Rolls Royce of MG's! that cheese grater barrel sleeve looks cool as hell, and thankfully for German WW2 airsofters the MG34 was used in its infantryman form right up till '45. So any WW2 period German airsofter can use it without being sneered at by experts.

You don't know the MG42 O.o, it's the most feared Machinegun of World war 2. Firing at around 1500 rounds per minute it was nicknamed by Troops as Hitlers Buzzsaw, Bonesaw, Hitlers Zipper.

No I think he means he doesn't know the

MG42XD

:D

beastor August 21st, 2008 12:27

Thanks Styrak, that was indeed what I meant!

I didn't know some those nicknames though Kingsix, lol!

Man, I have to admit, even though I would prefer a MG42, this MG34 has me excited....

Amos August 21st, 2008 12:44

:( If only these things weren't so DAMN HUGE. AGHH.

Now Hitler's Zipper makes you wonder if Hitler's ***** ever got caught in it.

beastor August 21st, 2008 14:42

The size and weight is what I love about them!

I am a big guy (vertically and horizontally), so the MG34 is the perfect size for a guy of my stature.

Anyway it always gets the "oooh" factor when you bring a M60 or M240 or any other large support weapons to a skirmish, they are good talking points, the noobs look at them with open eyed wonder and the sheer volume of fire they lay down more than makes up for lugging it over shoulder for half the day!

I am a support gunner by nature anyway, the 2nd AEG I ever bought was a RPK, the 3rd was a TOP M60 and my latest is a VFC BAR.

Roll on the MG34!

I wonder if that MG34 trigger will fire both semi (lower part of trigger) and auto (upper part of trigger)...

Slick August 21st, 2008 21:53

Still waiting on new news about the China made MG42/MG3. I remember hearing about a prototype being made up about a year ago but havent heard anything since.

beastor August 22nd, 2008 07:09

Thanks Ronan!

Is that what a XD is? the tripod mounted version?

Gunk August 22nd, 2008 07:10

I know, would love to see these here one day- I'll buy one.

Schlyder August 22nd, 2008 15:52

That is a sweet piece.

Donster August 22nd, 2008 16:13

i still would prefer the MG42. In real life, it is the superior platform and i think it looks cooler IMHO.

That is not a rifle, It's a bullet hose.

ya my bad. i dunno why i said rifle. though speaking of which, and changing the topic, i would love to see an AEG all metal all wood G43. I love that gun!

Rainer August 22nd, 2008 22:45

The tripod is called a la fayette when used in combination with the optic sights a gunner could lay down accurate fire up to 1km on zero'd in postions such as bridges, approches and crossroads.Ipersonally like the MG34 if its good enough for Imperial stormtroopers its good enough for me.

Schlyder August 23rd, 2008 05:33

I like em both. Although the 42 was more refined, and petty much perfected. The 34 was when they figured everything out and created a beast.
I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of either one of them. >:0(
But I sure would like to be on the trigger of one. :0)

shrapnel August 25th, 2008 12:11

LaFayette is a well known historical figure... The Lafette was the German tripod...

sortie39 November 23rd, 2008 04:01

Gahege November 28th, 2008 19:38
