just sell them off before you come here |
No you will not be able to bring them to Canada. The CBSA will steal your new toys so they can play with them in their blast furnace.
|
You cannot import them to Canada.
Just buy them here. |
You can't legally bring them into canada regardless of orange tip, case, etc. Youl will have to buy in Canada
|
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...I HATE CANADA!!!
U CAN BRING THEM 2 THE UK,US,ETC AND NOT CANADA!!!! WTF IS WHRONG WITH THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
If you feel the need to blow a temper tantrum over this, please do it in real life. It's not our fault and we really don't want to hear it.

As long as you are over 18, and can prove it to an age verifier, you will be able to purchase any airsoft gun you want from these forums.

Hi,
I'm moving to Canada (Calgary, AB) permanently on the 24th. I play airsoft here in Poland (over a year now) and I would like to continue in Canada. I'm bringing all of my gear with me but my main concern is my G&P WGC Custom AR-15 rifle. I'd like to take it with me. From what I read here, everything is OK (gearbox, outer and inner barrel, battery, magazines etc.) aside from the gun's body itself. So my question is: is there any special permit I could obtain at the embassy to legally bring it in? Or maybe try my luck and pray they won't notice? What are my chances if I politely tell the customs agent what I want to bring into the country - has anyone done it like this? It is a big deal for me, because the body is vital to my re-enactment, unless I could get an XM16E1/M16A1 G&P body in Canada (and I'd also like info on this if these bodies are readily available - if yes, I'll just take everything but mine and just get a new one in Canada) What do you guys think? Also, what about taking an M72A3 LAW with me? It is of course spent and useless (all I can do with it is open and close it) so it can't do any harm. Thanks |

Not even the parts?
|
Most of the gun parts, you can bring in Canada without problem but the lower and upper receiver, don't try luck to smuggling it in here. The good thing, they seized it but the worst thing, you will be in their blacklist and whenever or whatever you sent outside or receive from abroad will be opened, check and tax will coming along too but still I can't say that you have 100 % to bring the part like magazine, stock, and magazine either. It's depend on your luck too.
For M72A3 LAW, I wouldn't it pass the border at all, Don't ever consider to bring. You can buy one in here when you get verified. Cheers ! KND Quote:

Alright then, the M72 is out of the question, but I'm still waiting on some more opinions about the rifle parts.
Also, what about an M7 bayonet? Can I take it with me? And does any Airsoft retailer in Canada readily offer XM16E1/M16A1 G&P receivers? |
Retailers offer receivers, if you get age verified you can buy them here as well, as for the bayonet, I'm sure that you can bring it into Canada, people import/bring swords and such on the plane with them all of the time.
P.S ~ What's the weather like in Warsaw? I've got some family there. |
Alright, thanks for the info. So I will take everything but the receiver with me, and buy a new one here.

You can bring all your rifle parts, but not the body.
Gear is fine Accesories are fine (but not your grenades for m72, or silencers) Just put everything in your luggage, not your carry-on. Once in Canada you can meet an age verifier, he can age verify you (18+) and then you can have a importer bring in a metal body for you from almost any supplier. redwolfairsoft.com wgcshop.com and many more. P.S I miss the summers in Szczecin. |
Im in poland right now staying with relatives and i was hoping to bring something back. This thread has crushed my dreams. I saw a really nice air rifle that was 6mm lead ball and not exactly airsoft. I doubt it would be possible to lower the velocity t airsoft standards but at 100 zloty it was an amazing value. At the same place in the market i bought two knives (legal by 3mm and 2mm) and i was going to buy a baton but i am not sure of the laws regarding it.
|
You can mail it back to your home in BC.
I mean, if it does not look like an actual gun (m16, ak47, uzi) then its just a pellet gun which is legal to own, so for 100zl, do it up! Just MAIL it back, taking it on the plane... might not go to well. I used to go every summer to Poland for 1 or 2 months at a time, I always purchased butterfly knives, switchblades, and even pellet guns... I never took them on the plane with me, I always mailed them back to myself in BC, and never had any problems. I dident know the knives were illegal in Canada untill a year after I owned them... |

Buy them from Canada, you don't want anything from Poland anyways, shit hole of Eastern Europe in a nutshell.

You can try this...
I've brought weapons and historical objects back from Poland. What i do is declare them at the airport in Warsaw or Gdansk. What Polish customs will do is seal your bags with this funky yellow tape. I've done this five times already and Canadian customs don't bother me on the way in. I brought back a full suit of Hussar Armour, along with two black powder pistols and several swords.
|
So you suggest I do this with a metal receiver?
|
*bump*
Is the UPPER receiver OK to take with me? |
You can't import them here. Your gonna have to buy them here.
I know it sucks... |
Powodzenia
Powodzenia.

I actually got through the border OK with everything, they didn't even check my bags.
|
No matter what color it is, what case you but it in, or how compact it is, YOU CANNOT BRING THEM HERE!!!!!!! PEROID. I know it sucks, but this is Canada - a country famous for having too many laws. You will have to get them all here bud, thats the only way to do it.
Cheers, -Rick |

I know we always say it but there are always the success stories of purposeful or accidental importation or smuggling. Customs can only catch so many people but why take the chance? Welcome to Calgary Panek! You just missed the big Battlefield game in Alberta (200 players, humvees, transport trucks, etc.) Glad to hear you got everything through. Sometimes the limits of the Canadian system and our frustrations are stated a little zealously here but it was just for your own safety. Personally, I know many people who buy metal AEGs in the states and simply have it mailed to them and they've never been caught. I would not recommend it at all though. Goto jocairsoft.com and you can read about local events and games |
he's already signed up with us at joc

Wow, he got his stuff in?! Lucky FOB... errr, FOP?
