Best place to order airsoft in Canada online?

Hello, I am new to the community. I am currently in process of getting age-verified. I live in Vancouver.

I am interested in guns, mostly bolt-action rifles. I will probably buy a spring-gun.

I've been reading through the FAQ's on ASC, and I see there are only a few online stores offering to sell Airsoft. I guess ordering guns from the States is a no-no.

So far, there are 007 Airsoft, Calcity, and BuyAirSoft Canada. 007 Airsoft only seem to sell prime, pro-guns, and are very expensive. Calcity doesn't have a very good online catalog. BuyAirsoftCanada ( http://airgunscanada.ca/ ) seems to be the best choice for me, but they don't sell a lot of guns.

I was about to buy from Hobbytron, but I found out they are located in the States. I also heard about mrairsoft ( http://www.mrairsoft.com/ ) Does anyone have any experience with them?

Now, are there any other stores that I can order cheap, spring bolt action rifles from? I did see some Airsoft guns at this army surplus store in Vancouver, but they don't seem to carry a lot. I'd love to order a bolt-action spring gun soon. Please help me find an online store that will ship to me!

dont go to buyairsoft.ca unless you are looking for the Well L96, Bar 10, or the C02 handguns lol, once you are age verified on here you can go through shootsoft's catalog, which from what I hear is quite amazing and affordable.

BBS April 14th, 2008 04:27

some other relatively smaller scale individual retailers. you'll be let in to the info when you get age verified.

Oblisk April 14th, 2008 04:30

Mostly awesome. Plenty of great deals, and most people are reliable.

yourdogg April 14th, 2008 19:37

how old do you have to be to just browse the classifields??

TokyoSeven April 14th, 2008 19:40

Its all 18.

18 and be age verified.

redmond April 14th, 2008 22:00

Once you're 18 and age verified, the ASC classifieds is the best place to find AEGs and gear for sale.

Oblisk April 15th, 2008 04:52

Does the Spring Gun buy/sell forum have a lot of ww2 bolt-action replicas for sale? Those are I want to buy.

Also, I sent the online store Mr. Airsoft an email regarding their shipping to Canada and got this;

Quote:

Mr. Airsoft to me

We do ship to Canada. We apologize for the glitch in our system, which does not allow you to choose the proper country. We are working to resolve this issue and should have it resolved soon.

Sincerely,
The Mr. Airsoft Team

I have heard of airsoft being denied entry at the border. Is this true?

Hi Oblisk,

There are strict guidelines for ordering airsoft product in Canada.
We have heard of product getting stopped at the border.

Please refer to the international orders section on our website
regarding shipping regulations to Canada

http://www.mrairsoft.com/conditions.php

Thanks,
The MrAirsoft Team

I know there's a 90%-99% probability that it will be seized at the border, but hmm.

TokyoSeven April 15th, 2008 04:59

Let put it this way.

An american retailer will tell you they will ship to Canada, unless they have a "if it gets seized by the CBSA we will give you 100% of your money back" rule its not even worth attempting it. Once it leaves their hands, usually they dont care. They have your money, they have sent the parcel and they dust their hands of it.

As for your initial inquiery, sorry I am unable to province you any information on the buy and sell section since you are not age verified.

That's interesting - most of the sites usually just have the "we aren't liable..." etc, but it seems you can only order clearsoft from Canada.

Donster April 15th, 2008 11:31

fill out your profile and age. then get verified.

MillerBRo April 15th, 2008 12:16

I called customs a few weeks ago and they said that if it is anything airsoft not to bother. I asked about clear and under 500 fps and the customs fellow said that it isnt as simple as that. I asked what were the requirements and he said it varied... but he said until the law gets changed he wouldnt risk it as pretty much everything gets sent back to date.

Clearly that isnt the case as the crap clear soft gets through to Canuck Tire and Walmart, and the local sports store in town has a few springers and some CO2 pistols... but I suspect that the average buyer from any online store wont get his stuff through. With my luck with customs I know I wont risk it as they open darn near everything I order and everything I send to the USA lol

Kind of frustrating that even the customs guys dont seem to know exactly how to import anything- or wont explain our legal recourse to have the right to do so... got to love those unexplainable arbitrary rules lol.

Oblisk April 16th, 2008 04:25

I'm hoping there is someone in North Van that does Age Verification, I can't travel far.
