I own a JGm-4 and JG G36C and both are great ! you might wan,t to try the m-4 S- system there are lots of add ons out there for m-4s my m-4 has a metal ris , buis , flip down front sight , one of haungs tac lights and a aimpoint Rep.the battery is wired to the rear and it has a systema barrel, My G36C has red dot scope , grippod for a "C" mag setup.Which I have not used yet. Both are good starter guns and can be upgraded down the road!

Go 36C. Everyone has an Armalite, and it's not always true, but it seems that 36C internals last longer then M4 internals.

M4

Bowers April 13th, 2008 15:06

real men use HK's

pusangani April 13th, 2008 18:50

that Jing Gong G36c is insane! I'd love to get my hands on one, the M4 would definitely give you alot of configuration options though, but I love the G36c and this one hits really hard too! check out the vids of it on youtube.

NickPoole April 13th, 2008 18:58

Out of those to take the M4 S-system, Its more accurate and powerfull than the G36 and offers alot more configuration options as stated, Looks better to IMO ... I just think G36's are ugly though. And If you want to keep the battery in the forgrip though move the fusebox to the right of the battery compartment , It comes in the left and the battery does not fit when It Is like that , OR you can get a PEQ box.

Another option though Is to hop on the the HK-416 bandwagon , Supposed to be JG's highest quality gun so far, I might get one myself pretty soon :)

More powerful?

NickPoole April 13th, 2008 19:06

Chronos prove It shoots harder , up to 400+
G36 comes In 370 tops.

pusangani April 13th, 2008 19:08

I read somewhere that the G36 was supposed to do 400-420 with .12's I dont think the M4 does that

who heck uses .12 grains?

pusangani April 13th, 2008 20:10

nobody really, i guess they put that in the description to make it sound better?

darknightelf2 April 13th, 2008 23:19

I was looking around and i saw that g36 and M4S had pretty much the same Fps ,on evike thay said both have 350-380 fps .And also theres seem to be a new G36C on the way it has version 3 metal gear box you can pre-order it on evike but anyway we cant import but maybe its gonna come in retailer here.

i have a JG M4 S-system and JG G36C. both guns are ok. it depends on your preference. the only downfall i have for the s-system is that its just too heavy. g36c are cool also once you have it dressed up. but if i were in your shoes? i'd go for the HK416 or the M4 CQB.

but when the time came to choose w/c gun to sell i decided to let go of my G36C, bought an HK416. M4 platforms are common thus parts are not that hard to find and i want the mags to be compatible with all my guns. next im planning to sell my s-system to have it replaced with a JG M4 CQBR, im the teams CQB lead so i need a short gun, though a standard M4 length barreled rifle might come in handy i will be modifying my HK416 with a long barrel once i get my CQB, im still deciding.

out of the box the M4's are ok compared to G36C, sometimes you will get lucky and get a G36C with a 400+ fps like mine. luckily all JG's i bought are 420 fps atleast out of the box.

darknightelf2 April 18th, 2008 09:22

Why change your G36c for a Hk416 is it that much better?? Because im looking for great performance, but i just dont like the look of the hk416 its just too ... normal, nothing unique, i think that the S-System looks just enough different from the M-4 while you can say it is one and the G36C seem to be one of the best gun out there to start everyone seem to have one. would you like to tell me between the M4 S-system and the G36 which one is better on Fps and accurracy, i dont care if the S-system is heavy.thanks

Just my $0.02, feel free to ignore...

G36C. It's a good build and the mechbox is a version 3 (durable, more cold weather tolerant, etc....). Lots of spare parts and some conversion options available. Biggest downside is being stuck with mini batteries if you want an internal battery. In my opinion, 2nd biggest drawback is that the G36 series magazines are freaking huge and you may have a hard time finding a vest/rig that works for you.

M4 S-System. LOTS of accessories and parts, mags, upgrades, etc....except that the M4 S-System body is not a typical M4 body and so there are limited metal/replacement body options. If the front end ends up being heavy, all that cantilevered weight could put undue stress on the plastic body. If your body goes...you're stuck (more so than with plastic M4 rifles where metal bodies are easier, relatively, to come by). With with S-system, in stock format, you're still stuck to mini batteries up front, but you have the easier option of rewiring and running a crane stock in back.

If I had to pick between them, I'd get the G36 and deal with the battery/mag issues. Plenty of people run them and have a blast.

FPS and accuracy between the two are very similar. Both have short barrels so neither is going to be as accurate as a longer gun like a G36E or M16. Most airsoft guns, especially ones by the same manufacturer, perform almost identical stock.

The G36 has a V3 mechbox which is stronger than the V2 mechbox, so it won't be as likely to break in colder weather (or any weather). In the end it comes down to personal preferance -which gun do you like the look of better? Which one feels more comfortable for you?

And incase noone has pointed it out yet, you can't order a gun from the US. You'll have to get Age Verified and use the classifieds here and our Canadian retailers.

unless your JG's are all metal including bodies the M4 will cost you more to upgrade to metal as you WILL need an adapter kit (TM's require them) and they are exact clones

Ok thanks all, i will probably go with the G36c when im gonna have some spare cash because i already have a long range weapon ( well L96), I might go at action commando in montreal because im going to study at campus ubisoft for a full year .

Jing Jong W-4 S system

Have any of you guys tried adding a M-203 grenade launcher I'm thinking about doing that and putting a crane stock on, partly to counterweight the grenade launcher but also I dont like how the foregrip opens up the little springs that are suppose to push out the screws are quite weak so it can be quite diffucult to get the stupid thing to open and close.

Ehhh!!??sorry its a thread about 2 differents guns (JG M4 S-system and the JG G36c)and im asking people the one they love the most and why with the experience they had with those so i dont think your grenade launcher has something to do with those gun even if its about using it on one of those its just not about the good question so go make your own thread and have a nice day thanks.

the hk416 is much better out of the box compared to g36c, based on experience and a little research from other users. i have been using a g36c for 3 years, maybe i just got bored. hehe.

if your after accuracy and good fps out of the box, i recommend the s-system, nothing can go wrong. just buy a better battery for better rate of fire also.
