How much does your AEG/Rifle weigh?

I am just curious as to some weights of users AEGs/Rifles. I have a full metal Sopmod fully kitted out M4A1 which comes in just a little over 9 pounds fully loaded. How about yours?

Jayhad December 31st, 2007 16:02

my TOP 249 is about 13lbs not loaded

ThunderCactus December 31st, 2007 16:13

my G&P 249 para is 16.7lbs unloaded, balance point at the front of the mag well. M4 is 9lbs same balance point.

tunabreath December 31st, 2007 16:14

My AUG HBAR is 13-14 pounds loaded, my friend's ICS AK74M is about 12 pounds stock, loaded.

I usually carry my AUG as a shorty though... MUCH lighter.

Nervikaire December 31st, 2007 16:15

My VSR is around 8.5lbs with scope, my M4 around 7lbs.

Kos-Mos December 31st, 2007 16:27

I can't mesure the weight of my guns, but I can get a rought estimate

Star G36KE Long barrel +silencer (to fit a 550mm inner)

I would say somewhere in the 9-10 pounds. All the weight is in the front, so it is quite hard to maneuver.

Worst I had so far was my ASP-2 T96 with the same 200mm silencer and a huge scope. Again all the weight is in the front. I would say it was close to 7-8lb.

Again it's nothing compared to RS... but still.

SEALs December 31st, 2007 17:05

My M4 weight bout 10 pounds and my M24 is about 16-17 pounds if not more. On the other hand my sr-25 is much lighter about 8 pounds

killroy December 31st, 2007 17:10

My m4 is around 9.9lbs

medhatboy December 31st, 2007 17:15

M249, 13-14lbs, M4 about 9lbs.

six4 December 31st, 2007 17:21

i tried to weigh mine but safeway customers were giving me strange looks while i was using the produce weigh scale.

Perhaps you should try in Surrey or more specifically Newton!!!

Voodoo December 31st, 2007 17:35

My m4 is around 14lbs with unloaded 203 and mag.

Skruface December 31st, 2007 17:53

Cyclic had a TM G3SG1 with old-style CA metal body and cocking tube. Damn thing was about 16 pounds dry IIRC.

kuchervano December 31st, 2007 18:12

About 4.5 kg loaded for a metal/wood AK47

Aquamarine December 31st, 2007 18:17

I'm 232lbs and holding onto my PSG-1, I'm 255.

Amos December 31st, 2007 18:17

My M14, 8 pounds unloaded with the battery in.

My G36C, 6 pounds unloaded without a battery

My L96, 8 pounds unloaded, without the silencer adaptor or silencer on, with the scope and angel inner barrel

My Darkhawk, 2 pounds loaded with an ungassed, no BB magazine

Firewalker December 31st, 2007 18:29

My G&P SR-25 URX weighs about 10.5 maybe just 10. That's fully loaded. Haven't actually weighed it, so this is an estimate.

ProbeJax December 31st, 2007 18:45

5 pounds with the P90, fully loaded. Must be light compared to others.

Brakoo December 31st, 2007 19:48

M4/M203 is at 12 pounds
M249 Para is at 17.5 pounds
M14 is at 13.5 pounds
M870 is at 6.5 pounds
1911 with Surefirre 310r is at 2.5 pounds.

All of those were taken loaded and with optics on so they give an idea of how it will be when I use them.

I had no clue my Para was so heavy. ;)

kalnaren January 1st, 2008 12:28

Don't know exactly, but my G36 fully loaded (battery and duel mags) weighs less than a Classic Army M4.

The G36 is fiberglass, the M4 is full metal.

How beefy was that metal body??? My HK11E has a CA metal body and a full steel front end and it's only 10.5lbs lol :p

mcguyver January 1st, 2008 16:35

My CQB-R loaded with full mag and battery weighs 11.5 pounds. The SIR adds considerable weight, but it was meant for the real gun, so no pot-metal there. The gun still balances on the mag when I set it on the coffee table though.

Styrak January 1st, 2008 17:00

My metal custom build M4 is 7 pounds, don't know how much my AUG HBAR is. Probably about the same or a bit more. No batteries.

Exactly my point....why are you confused then?

I'm not. I said I wasn't sure of the exact weight of my G36, but I know it weighs less than a CA M4. I think you're the one who's confused ;)

Vivisector January 1st, 2008 17:09

ICS AK-74M with scope, about 13-14 lbs.

Ah. I thought you said "don't know why", not "don't know".

I'm around 10! That must be one fuckin' heavy piece of glass :p

Ronan January 16th, 2008 04:21

I'm not sure... how much does a M4A1 weights? :D

For my VSR not sure ether i never weighted it, but it has so much stuff on it lol...

Heaviest was my CA SR-25, 14 pounds with the scope, bipod and mag (loaded).

El Cactus Loco January 16th, 2008 23:09

too much ;)

Hades January 16th, 2008 23:11

I think my EBR is close to 20lbs right now with scope, battery, bipod and mag in

damage January 17th, 2008 07:25

My M4 is around 8-9lbs, Type 96 10-12lbs and M24 with scope and bipod....I dont want to know...freakin heavy.

Schwag January 17th, 2008 09:49

My jg mp5 ris with metal body and aimpoint is 9.2 pounds. Heavy bastard for it's size.
By comparison, my marui mp5 with silencer, large metal foregrip and larger battery is only 7.4 lbs.

yanhchan January 17th, 2008 10:00

I'd ball park my damn M14 was around 10 due to the bipod and scope mount...

Hk-GUY January 17th, 2008 11:59

Mine weighs...alot. ITs already full metal then I added tons of gear to it. Still manuverable.
