FOX_111 December 12th, 2007 20:02

Did you paint over the turret marcking on your scope?

Nice rifle. I love the mussle break.

I'd paint it a nice camo patern. Plain OD is fine, but it look too "out the box".

Forever_kaos December 12th, 2007 20:31

That.. is @$*^ing.. beyond ..awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amos December 12th, 2007 21:32

Oooh Ooh, Once mine's done.. I need to post it.. :) I bet 'cha I payed 1/5th the price you did, and I get equal / better preformance outta mine when it's done :P

(Actually, I can't bet that.. What's inside yours?)

Mr Jon December 12th, 2007 21:49

Lookin nice dude.. keep it up

Amos December 12th, 2007 22:02

Yea.. I had that barrel on order.. Then I realized that I'd just be covering up 70% of the fluting with a silencer anyways :(

Shirley December 12th, 2007 22:26

Now that's what I call damage.

Lakonian December 13th, 2007 00:15

LOL.. This thing actually frightens me a lil' bit.

I'd love a L96, but alas, sniping isn't my groove.

Ice King December 13th, 2007 00:20

Love the Barrel... Def something to be proud of.

Lerch December 13th, 2007 03:52

It definately was a sweet gun to see at the Charity game last weekend :D

I painted the scope with the flip cover closed and when you flip up the cover its black. I need to find a killflash. I will leave it two tone for now, maybe in the future I will give it a nice camo paint job.

Bought the gun used and it is already been upgraded internally and rest stock, original owner rarely gamed it. Payed $900 just for the gun. I am customizing the externals(fluted outer barrel, *duralumin reciever*, flashider, scope, bi-pod and flat mount base). I am just waiting for a few parts to complete the set up. I edited the original thread for the parts list.

Straight from PDI;)

Dracheous December 13th, 2007 06:12

Looks sharp, really makes me want to get an L96 after I finish the APS2 project I have under way ((I hate waiting for parts... its worse than waiting for Christmas!)) But I think I might go gas with my L96. Must say, that barrel and flashhider are a GREAT touch.

Andrew D 17 April 26th, 2008 15:43

Let me know if you want to sell the PSS96 Cheek Rest adjustable Screws.

damage May 9th, 2008 03:14

Aquamarine May 9th, 2008 03:17

I don't know why, but I really like that flash-hider.

loulew July 8th, 2008 21:14

ill tell u something interesting that happened... i painted my l96 "earth brown" which the salesperson assured me it was a flat color, behold, next morning, it was blindingly shiny...

Shrapnel[Op-For] July 9th, 2008 01:43

Spend some money on krylon, you wont be sorry.

damage July 9th, 2008 02:58

Re-painting my L96 as soon I get my PDI internals. Replacing all the PSS96 parts.

I am using both inner barrels with PDI Type 96 Hop chamber. PDI 6.01mm 520mm for 480-500fps with SGM's and Prometheus for 500-550fps with heavier weight bb's .36 and .43.

FOX_111 October 26th, 2008 10:46

Nice. I love the new paintjob. Much more camo!
