My full upgraded KSC Glock 19

I've never been a Glock guy (more of a Beretta kinda person), but this is still my baby, and it changed the way I look at Glocks.

So - KSC Glock 19 with the following installed
Metal slide with trademarks (white trademarks)
Metal outer barrel
KWA heavyweight frame (and no it's not OD, the pictures seem to make it so, slightly)
KWA trigger
Adjustable rear sight
Guarder enhanced spring guide
150% recoil spring
Metal rocket valve
Metal mag catch
Also have a real steel hogue grip, but was not on the pistol at the time.

On with the show! As always - my photography can use quite a bit of work

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01960.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01941.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01938.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01956.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01939.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01944.jpg
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...9/DSC01945.jpg

This baby has very snappy recoil due to the stiffer recoil spring, and an incredible firing POP sound to it. And the clickaty-clack sound from all the metal parts is a huge bonus as well.

Cheers!
Alex

Gorgeous pistol.. Definitely one of the more practical pieces in your arsenal.

BBS November 23rd, 2007 22:12

hey alex i like the last picture ;) your G19 is waiting to have a workout.

do you plan on adding a high flow valve? for even more power and recoil haha.

oh and what rocket valve are you using? please dont tell me its hurricanE...

Griffin November 23rd, 2007 22:26

Hey BBS the pistol you sold me looks a lot like that now :). Myself I got the airsoft surgeon floating valve(jury is still out on it). I have a new hammer spring and shooters design part 78, along with metal catch to still install. Right now with the same metal slide and outer barrel, than 6.04 inner barrel it rocks. If my machine goes well tomorrow I should have made myself a homemade valve key to install the KA high flow valves I also have.

HELLFIRE989 November 23rd, 2007 22:52

Very nice glock sir!!!

ancorp November 24th, 2007 00:12

Thank you gents!

The rocket valve is a "Shooters Design". CNC Aluminum! Wohoo.

These damn Glocks sure grow on you once you hold a nice one :P

Griffin November 24th, 2007 00:41

Yup the metal slide when racking it sounds so sweet and firing it wow.

Steve_U1S November 25th, 2007 16:45

That's the only type of sight I use on my KSC G-series... excellent.

Huge November 25th, 2007 17:06

That gun's bringing sexy back

Goodl2ussian November 25th, 2007 17:54

used to be a beretta guy too. Ive fallen in love with these things =D

Ancorp that is one sexy pistola, I was actually thinking of doing the same thing as far as the two-tone. Props on a beautiful pistol.

MrEvolution November 25th, 2007 18:34

Sort of off topic, but are those .45 ACP rounds? Dont 'original' glocks shoot 9mm, or are my eyes goin funky?

The bullets look like 9mm to me.

MrEvolution November 25th, 2007 18:38

Ah, nevermind then. Must be my eyes.

ancorp November 25th, 2007 18:49

Definitely your eyes. Those are 9x19 Para rounds.

Thanks for the comments gents, appreciated.

Goodl2ussian November 25th, 2007 18:52

thers a variant of the G19 that shoots .45s I believe, the G23.

But yea those are 9mils dammit ancorp i just got a G17 now i want a 19 cas of you =(

hattrick November 25th, 2007 19:15

the kj23 shoots .40 not .45

Im not entirely sure, but i dont think any glocks shoot .45

RacingManiac November 25th, 2007 19:22

Glock 30 is a G26 size gun that shoot .45ACP....I am sure there are ones in G19 and G17's size that does the same....just don't know what numbers they are...

Glock also has models that shoot .45 GAP...

There are most definitely Glocks that shoot 45. And KJ23 ain't a real firearm.

But a .45ACP Compact Glock doesn't exist as far as I know. At least not a doublestacker.

You are correct. There is ONE sub-compact model that shoots the .45acp rounds, and that would be the Glock 30. infact, there are only 3 models that shoot the .45ACP rounds as far as I know, the Glock 21(standard size), 30 (sub-compact) and 36 (slimeline).

The Glock 37, 38, and I believe the 39 as well shoot .45GAP rounds. I don't know the difference between .45GAP and .45GCP rounds.

You got .45 AUTO G30 which is considered a subcompact pistol
http://www.glock.com/english/glock30.htm

And the .45 G.A.P. G39 also a subcompact
http://www.glock.com/english/glock39.htm

But there is a glock that is the same size as the G19 which is chambered for the .45 G.A.P.

GAP and ACP are essentially the same round, however they've cut down the casing because the ACP round is a bit too long for the smaller frames of the GLOCK lines. There is some more info on them here in this link, and its kinda of funny that the .45GAP round is shorter than the 9 X 19mm round.

Yes, SUB compact, not just compact, like the G19 in 9x19.

shifty51 November 25th, 2007 20:56

a list of all glocks and caliber can be found here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock#Models

ah wikipedia, the only thing it doesn't know is the future...yet

bzrk November 26th, 2007 00:29

Hey guys this question might sound stupid but i just got my kwa g19 3 days ago and i was wondering if ksc parts such as the recoil spring would fit on the gun? cause i see alot of parts for the ksc g19 but rarely any for the kwa and was just curious weather they fited for not

Lakonian November 26th, 2007 01:01

Exactly the same shit, man.

KSC & KWA are 1:1. You can interchange anything between them, LIRC.

vatek November 29th, 2007 17:19

Ancorp, where did you get that adjustible sight?

ancorp November 29th, 2007 17:22

I believe it is a KSC original part actually, part 6 on the Glock17 diagram that I have at hand:

Cheers,
Alex

vatek November 30th, 2007 12:39

Weird, I wonder why they have two versions of the sights.

Mine came with part #5.

Jayhad November 30th, 2007 12:54

from what i have found is that adjustable sight is only availble on the G34 FOR AIRSOFT. I have one my 34 but not on my 18 and the other 34s (only 2)I have seen have it as well. The parts manual you get with the 34 is for the 17 but it shows the different parts, you also get a bigger slide catch lever on the 34s

Guess you didn't read the last one, 38 Compact, SAME dimensions as the G19 only chambered for .45GAP. GAP being near same as .45ACP only the casing is made shorter so that it can fit in the smaller frames of compact Glocks.

So to answer your question there are .45 Compact Glocks. More info on it all is linked in previous post, most from the manufacture themselves.

EDIT: Should point out that I am yes simplifying the diferences between GAP and ACP rounds. There are some internal and external differences to the round, the three most notable are case length, the rim has a slightly tighter cut and the round uses a smaller primer due to the smaller volume in the round. However the overall power, performance and impact of the rounds are identical, as was the intention of the round. Further information can be found at the link in my last post or this one here ((which is linked from said previous link)):

Steve_U1S November 30th, 2007 20:57

I use that same adjustable sight on all of my G-Series:
G23F
G23F (#2)
G19
G18C
G26C

It's an excellent sight - helps to have a very fine screwdriver on-hand for adjustments.

ACP. Not GAP. Just because the difference isn't very big, doesn't mean there is no difference at all.
