For the uninformed, he's wearing authentic Crye Precision Multi-Cam, which is not available for sale to pretty much anyone right now, as well as the their blast belt (can't be 100%, but it looks like it) and their uber-rare plate carrier vest. I would suspect that it is about $2500 worth of gear, being conservative.

No clone stuff there.

He sent me a PM and said that it was a replica made in a special order of like 10 ea or something like that.

The fact is there are over 3 manufacturers in china are trying to clone the vest. None of them get a real vest and even close replica. One of them makes a prototype but just not good enough to go in production. And none of them likes to clone the other clones like gunvest etc.

If you look carefully you'll notice that the shoulder straps aren't the full "waffle" pattern as on the original but only a single column of the ridges/squares. Darn nice though.

Awesome loadout! If I could only get my hands on that armor chassis system as well...

I think the the feeling is mutual for many of us who sport multicam.
We all want that bloody armor chasis.

Id love to have the real thing but I would easily settle for a replicam chasis.

Short Review:
It's made from real multicam material, Stitching and construction seem pretty good, it'll hold up to anything airsoft can throw at it, I don't know if it can be used for real world applications, but I don't see why not.

From the pictures you can see They did an excellent job replicating it, one of the only ones with the correct stock lock. Couple things though, my stock lock's came unfinished and the coloring was completely off, so I repainted it with duracoat FDE. My pictures don't really show it's true color of it cause of the flash, but the last picture of just the chassis is kinda the right color or along those lines.

It does not use a kydex enclosure like the real one, but it's the same concept with a stiff piece, in this case wrapped in multicam and velcroed on. It's very secure once it's been put in place. Theres buckles on the bottom as well to keep it even more secure.

Finally they did replicate the quick release system from the real one, but for some reason they decided to permanently sew the back plate to the sides via webbing. It can be made functional if you cut those. Oh and the sizing adjustment works just like the real one.

Needed: Korean translator and some way to order from them. Group-order perhaps? Better act quick if there's only 20 available.

Well I tried using Google translator and it did better that Babel, expect when it got to the order page. One of the lines to be filled out asked about a cow and 3 weeks :confused: . So we definitely someone to translate the whole thing and yes help us get a group order going.

A gunvest body armor has been purchased and will be shipped to a manufacturer I work with. However, we are not going to clone the clone but use it as a reference to build a better replica. Meanwhile we still try to get hold of a real one.

Huang that is awesome. I'd trade my left nut for the MC combat chasis. Not that I don't love my CIRAS, but damn would be sweet to own one of these too.

The gunvest body armor is not made of real CP fabric. I have talked to the manufacturer and he didn't like to use real cp material due to the much higher cost( importing the fabric from US ) which means higher risk. I will see what I can do.

You are mistaken and the gunvest version does use real CP fabric

Maybe your batch is real CP. But the current version is definitely not.
