I regret to say that our good friend from LRRP, HellRanger passed away last week. This is a very sad event for all of us who knew him so well.

The funeral will be this Sunday, Vondnik will be posting the details tomorrow for those who wish to attend in honor of his life.

I didn't know him either, but after being here for some time you can't help but start to know people from their posting.

Tell the airsoft gods to send us long waited airsoft guns, RIP HellRanger you'll be missed on the forums by many.

I never met him but talked to him numerous times over MSN. Sold his girlfriend/or wife (cant remeber) her first gun. This is truly sad news. RIP my friend.

Take care my friend. May you find the perfect milsim game up there with Armalites that shoot perfectly straight, have ejecting shells and have recoil when you shoot. Your uniform can make you invisable when you need it also.

wow. thats unbelievable, what happened!? thats toatally shocking. know him somewhat from interactions on the threads and a few classifieds deals, sad to hear the loss of anpther community member. i dont recall him mentioning any children, hows his wife holding out?

i never knew him but from what i have heard this is a huge loss for the community .

HellRanger was an amazing friend, always giving and ready to help at anytime.

Some of the best airsoft moments I have had were with him and I feel privileged to have had him as a friend. I will miss him greatly.

Ok, is it Hellranger the airsofter that is dead (since he posted a while back thta he was quitting airsoft), or is the man that made Hellranger the guy he was dead? Since there are no details as of yet, is why I'm confused.

Anyways, R.I.P. buddy, always great to play with you and our inside jokes about "shooting frogs", you'll be sorely missed by myself and all those that played with you.

Thanks for the PM SINN, this really sucks ass. Always gonna remember HR and miss my brief moments of chatting and joking (and making him laugh by tossing a tampon into the enemy's respawn area). Truly a great loss is his to everyone that knew him, either well on here or in person. And my condolences to his family and friends.

Thanks to those that posted the pictures. As is so often the case in airsoft, I spoke with him on several occasions but couldn't put the face to the name till just now.

Something I remember, and is mostly re-enforced by the pictures I see of him here, was his almost constant smile, and how genuine and infectious it was.

in every picture i saw of him he was smiling, never meet him or really talked to him but what i did see of him specially in the pictures that have been posted he seemed like a really great person to know and a comrade in arms you could trust.
