*New to Airsoft* Need help finding something!

Well...I tried going on ebay to buy an type 96 spring sniper rifle...but, I found that no one ships to Canada. Does anyone know where I could get a very good spring sniper rifle (mainly metal) in Canada for around $250-300?
Thanks much for the info

Or just Find some nomex and gain the skill to fit a rifle into your ass

How old are you?

If 18 and older, get age verified. (http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=11474)

If not, wait (18 minus your.age) years, then get age verified. (see previous step)

Once age verified, browse the Spring/Gas gun forums (http://www.airsoftcanada.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49) until someone unloads a gun in your price range. In the meantime, SAVE, so you can afford a nicer gun and/or more gear to play with once you get the gun.

Yes I'm 18, I'll get it verified asap.

Im pretty sure there isnt very much of a player base in buttshecks sask. other then aqua and tokyo so be prepared to travel into calgary for big games

Actually theres a big handful of us, only about 4 of us show our faces regularly on asc though.

and well Tyrone, welcome aboard, and I look forward to meeting ya sometime.

it's never good to start out with a sniper.

Starter guns drift by occasionally in the 200-300 range. for 350 you could pick up a JG gun, which are excellent for new players.

Don't bother buying from the states, they were stop it at the border and destroy it.

Godfath3r October 10th, 2007 11:12

im new to airsoft and my first gun i bought was a Marui AK-47, id rather buy quality first then buy something cheap that won't last as long because then your paying double the money once you want to step it up. It all depends on how serious you want to get.

attack-beaver October 10th, 2007 11:26

as said before stay away from AS sniping when you first start its boring and dont see alot of action. if you want to be a sniper yet still play you could try as a marksmen same idea but more on a sqaud level so you'll see action but wont be the sniper that does nothing in a game.

flame October 10th, 2007 11:43

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news guys but a sniper should be doing alot more than just lying in wait for a kill during a game.As a reg force sniper in the Royal Marines I had to do other things like be a forward observer gaining intel and radio my findings back to HQ coy. Snipers still become a member of a fire team when needed remember soldier first trade second

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. im sorry, but that is a funny question. read the FAQ and search for your stuff in the Canadian Retailers from the menu bar up above. That being said, you will NOT find a metal springer rifle for that price in Canada unless you buy it though the calssifieds and such.

He said he's going to get verified. Let's hold off on further flames unless he demonstrates that he didn't learn from this thread.

And Donster, try to remember that you've started a lot of spoonfeeding threads in your short time here. Too many to laugh at this guy.

Thanks for pointing that out also the fact its already been said up above that the guy should read the FAQ. Other than that alot of people autmoatically assume that this gun he's purchasing is to go to games.

IT could very well be but my thought is that i know many people who enjoy waiting around for snipe kills and let there frineds get into the match they take pride in the ones they do get. SO maybe this guy has a favorite gun and it happens to be a sniper rifle or he simply does enjoy waiting around for snipe kills....

My point is just because he is looking for a certain gun, and it's purpose seems useless to you maybe to the person who wants to own one they feel that it's what they want so theres no reason to shit on them.

you're right of course. and for that, Tyrones 11, i apologize. and saint, i apreciate your patience with me and my spoonfeading threads esp when you post such helpful advice and answers to my questions.

I apologize for my actions and i would like to take this time on behalf (though there are much better people to do this than myself) of ASC, welcome to the wonderful world of airsoft!

Its true, even though over the last week/weekend here we have had an influx of trolls and people who just dont want to read, we shouldnt discredit everyone who comes along. As long as we give an good honest attempt at pointing them in the right direction and make sure that they have a base understanding about whats going on when it comes to airsoft in Canada, we cant really do much more except sit back and watch. We can attempt to influence a persons choices, But I believe is a person is really devoted to their idea, they will stick to it and the least we can do when that happens is support them and educate them.

Tyrones11, dont take any of the flaming to heart. This site as of late has been experiencing a large influx of people who are just not interested in the advice we have to offer, and more often than not take what we say as a direct attack towards them. Please be paitent with us, and we will in time learn that you are legitimate about your inquierys for airsoft.
