Airsoft shops

Hello,

I just new here in Brampton, Ontario. I would like to know the locations of airsoft shops here and airsoft teams who could help me out.

TIA.

blade1220 August 7th, 2007 11:25

There are no airsoft stores anymore can Canada.

L473ncy August 7th, 2007 11:31

I'm assuming that you emigrated into Canada recently.

There are no "brick and mortar" shops for airsoft but you can get age verified and get access to the classifieds on this forum and the online retailers.

I'm waiting for about another year until I can get age-verified before I'm allowed to play because of the culture of the Americas, underage kids tend to do stupid things that make these 18+ rules need to be implemented.

surebet August 7th, 2007 12:51

The only "walk-in" option is to get age verified and meet up face to face with a local player.

Or attend a game, check out the guns, then order from either
http://www.007airsoft.com/ or
http://aasurplus.ca/disclaimer.html

Before you ask, buyairsoft.ca is no longer in operation.

Good luck!

Well actually....... YOu could consiter A&A a walk in shop. Ive been to there to pic up some surplus stuff. He has a huge house and his basement is set up like a store. Theres also another part of the basement (you have to be 18 to enter) where he keeps all his airsoft stuff. So in gereral you could consiter it a walk in store.

Well, yeah, but it's not a brick-and-mortar, established in a commercial district, listed in the yellow pages and has his address published on his website store. :)

Manitoba... a bit of a walk from Brampton.

Age verification and classifieds here... or on line purchase from one of the 2 remaining retailers are your options.

Isn't A&A in Manitoba?

Maverick0 August 7th, 2007 15:59

Indeed it is. Still not very close to Brampton though. It's about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive out of Winnipeg.

ybrik August 7th, 2007 16:24

it's quite far here. How about buying an aeg online store outside canada, is this advisable?

Greylocks August 7th, 2007 16:31

Yes, from a Canadian source ONLY as stated in the Information section. You still need to prove you are over 18, and there is a procedure for that. Look it up.

Airsoft bought outside Canada get seized and destroyed at Customs. Read up on that please.

Hawkeye_CJMC August 7th, 2007 16:38

Nope, but you can deal with A&A and 007 online.

Importing with the proper license is prohibited. If you order from outside the country and the item is discovered it will be seized and destroyed and you face other potential consequences as well. Not a risk I would reccommend.

^^^^ @ LAWDOG

So I should import WITHOUT the proper licenses?

I get what you mean though.

surebet August 8th, 2007 14:33

Get age verified, you'll find that changes fast

ybrik August 12th, 2007 11:07

not true those are another type of replica named "crapsoft" coincidentally sold by Crappytire and some walmarts. very LOW END types. Not woth buying those imo if you want to play without problems. You get what you pay for in airsoft. Even low end airsoft AEG is around ~$300 like the JG types which are chinese clones of Japanese higher end `

The Saint August 12th, 2007 11:13

All guns at Canadian Tire are the clear, so-low-it's-not-even-really-airsoft-anymore-end types.

ybrik August 12th, 2007 21:30

anyone who had tried to order at http://www.aasurplus.ca/airsoft/ ? is it door to door delivery?

TokyoSeven August 12th, 2007 21:34

Anything Ive ever ordered has been shipped via canada post. So yeah it comes to my door, whenever the mail man comes.

ok. any airsoft enthusiasts here in brampton? it's been 2 weeks since I haven't seen an aeg. I used to have back in my country. I do gunsmithing particularly on v2 mgb. I am just a newcomer here. Hope to meet you guys. PM me if there are any.

Greylocks August 13th, 2007 11:35

If you look at the Games and Events section, or the Teams section, you will find people in your area and games to go to.

Try using the resources of this website, ok? It will answer a LOT of your current questions because other people already asked and the answers were already written out for you.

Step back and read for a while.

jaa August 20th, 2007 12:38

There are some places that sell airsoft guns at reasonable prices and with decently high FPS. You just need to know where to look and which questions to ask.

Knowing the shopkeep well enough is also a plus.

Greylocks August 20th, 2007 16:31

All he needs to do is look at the top of Each Page of this site and press the Canadian Retailers button, or get age-verified to check the classifieds.

No special effort needed.

SINN August 20th, 2007 16:56

or...he can ask questions too and some of us do answer them.

Yupp. Also the site needs a good update. Maybe something like 'Canadian Retailers -> AEG/Snipers etc, and -> Airsoft Parts'.

Oh and when someone registers to the website, smack the screen with BIG RED LETTERS of the very basic FAQ (cant import guns, can only buy on those 2 stores, must be 18, etc etc, something short and big to get people attention).

Lots of bashing of people who are new here, no need. If you don't want to answer, don't. No one and nothing is making you *need* to answer the thread. :)

Greylocks August 20th, 2007 21:46

Bad me, I forgot that politely telling people where to look for their answers was not cool.
