Super 9
 

I'm thinking of getting a super 9 sniper since I can't afford a 300-500 dollar full metal sniper. Does any one have any pics of it with the bipod and scope attached?

Just a word of advice, the Super 9 isn't as super as the name suggest, in fact, it's quite far from it.

if you dont have the money, just wait untill you do. You WILL be much happier in the end. Buy the better of the two guns because the sport is not CHEAP to and buying a shity gun is not a good start.

If you buy crapy now then you will have to save up all your money again.

its not that bad of a first gun, if you can get it into canada. Its better than anything in canadian tire. and dont look at the site speedy toys because i know thats were you found that gun.

i would say wait and get a proper gun... but realize also that a sniper (despite being very cool in real life) in airsoft isnt as good. sure its 1337 but you have no advantage over guys with regular aeg's, especially on the low cost sniper end. in a game you are gonna get owned.

unless you have a 700fps tanaka m700 acis, then you can love tap paintballers from 250 feet...

I'm not playing in tourtaments or games agaisnt people yet. I'll do that in a few years when but for now im stuck in my backyard shooting cans.

IMO, get a pellet gun instead. More power, accuracy, and usually cheaper, even in the US. I recommend a XS B3-1 in .22caliber. Or a Drozd :D

Waste of money.

Even then, it's REALLY not worth it. Those things are NOT accurate for starters. Get a real pellet gun if you can shoot those in your backyard. Far cheaper and a whole lot more accurate, available at any sporting goods store.

Nah, my uncle shot out a neighbors window with one when he was little and went to court...I think im gona stick with airsoft. What you guys recommend than for a sniper? Is the UTG M324 any good?

Thanks, and because of the horrible reviews and posts about the Super 9 I made a good choice and didn't get it. I got the UTG M324, but I will probly sell it for a better TM or possibly CA.

so if you're going to sell the m324 to get a TM or CA, why didn't you buy a TM or CA in the first place? i'm so confused

If you want a decent spring gun around $100, get an HFC USR-11....it's a clone of the TM VSR 10 and 99.9% of the parts are interchangeable.

and not to mention us down here in the u.s. having a better selection of guns and parts more readily available and everything being a lot cheaper.

no real need to cheap out down here unless your love and desire for airsoft far outweighs a small budget.
i have a small budget and im even managing to eventually get everything i need. mostly thanks to ehobbies great prices and reasonable shipping costs

Well I got that gun ( the utg) had fun with it in my backyard shooting cans and sold it. Now I have a JG m4 and I'm selling that too. I have lost interest in airsoft but I still like comming here to see everyones guns.

I would seriously advise AGAINST the Super 9. My friend bought it and:
The bolt comes loose
The bolt will break if you cock it incorrectly
The seams are splitting
It curves horribly, it's ridiculous
The 5 shot magazine doesn't operate correctly, (my friend's exploded)

he doesn't even want it anymore

he doesnt even like airsoft anymore by the sounds of it

You've got it all wrong. We love it when minors take an interest in airsoft. Minors who want to play airsoft when they turn 18 are great for our sport, and we support them wholeheartedly.

Idiots who want to play airsoft when underage, or idiots who come to our community and bother us, we don't like.

Your an American, so you really don't apply to Idiot category #1, as you don't have the same strict community rules down there.
