Cadpat vs Marpat

Im picking up some combats this week and want to know which works best between cadpat and marpat

Depends on where you live and the settings. Right now where I live in MI it has been dry. CADPAT would be way too green and black, MARPAT would only be slightly better. Multicam (my favorite) just happens to have the same shades of green and brown that dominate this time of year here.

Take a hike where you plan on playing and look where you would be applying the various camo patterns and go with the one that best matches the enviroment.......

id chose cadpat over marpat anyday but thats just me we cant tell you wat kind of cammo to get

owner... if your profile said something more precise than Canada, we may be able to give you better suggestions.
It all depends on what type of vegetation you have where you live.

Second cadpat. If the areas you are playing at has a lot forest canopy, bothwill work about the same, but if there is also a lot of cedar trees, cadpat will work the best.

I'd take cadpat over marpat everyday. Both work great, but marpat look like shit IMO.

I would wear Issue Cadpat in the South and Frontenac Cadpat in the North

BDUs are originally designed to defend the home land. That's why it's designed to fit their own country's vegetation patterns. CADPAT TW was designed to use for in Canada which has a more greenish environment than the US Woodlands. The MARPAT Forest which came out before the Desert and Urban was ALSO designed to defend home country. It's just that the vegetation in the US are more toward brownish hue than the evergreens in Canada.

There isn't ONE camo pattern that works everywhere in the world. There are a lot of places MARPAT or CADPAT wouldn't work, that's why there are new camo pattern when troops are sent over sea. (ie the CADPAT AR and Desert MARPAT)

And sorry for our gov't's policy on being defensive rather than try to dominate the world via invasion.

BTW, how well does Woodland MARPAT work in states like Arizona, Texas and Nevada?
