Best. Present. Ever.

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...otato/Back.jpg My boyfriend has quite a bit of kit and weaponry. However all of his kit is too big for me. His CIRAS (small) is about two times too big. So this is absolutely perfect for me, being that I'm quite slim. Yay! Plate Carrier! I'm plannihng on filling the plates with sand. Mostly because it'lls it well with it. And also for the more realistic weight. Megan |
i was given a hi-capa 5.1 for a present once, and that was pretty sweet.
but the CIRAS is good, youll love it, and i think you should buy my phantom M4 pouches, they look just like the ones you got :-D |

She is talking about these plates that her boyfriend order. They are hollow plastic with a small hole on the top. If they are filled with sand and the whole is taped up, there wont be any way for the gear to be destroyed.

You rock!
So where did you pick this up? |
Are you asking where he got the girlfriend who plays airsoft or where he got the plate carrier from....?
I'm being facitious (sp?) he tells me I have a habit of doing that. He ordered it through a friend (said friend, post here if you want to be known; I care not to advertise your 1337 skillz without thine permisions....) but for a plate carrier... well.. have you bothered to check out Airsoft Armoury? They have some. This paticular one.. I'll wait for Point_Man to answer.. I don't know details... M |

I didn't see them on the shelf at Wal-Mart this weekend, maybe if I went to Sport Check?
:D |
That has to be the smallest plate carrier I have ever seen. When I first saw it I thought it looked like a drop leg panel since it looks like the BHI one I have. Damn that's tiny.
|
It even looks too tiny for me, and that's really creepy...

I'm looking for the plate carrier in this size as well for my wife.
Are these the smalls? |

At any rate; both the plates and the carrier were purchased through a group order from WGC. Links: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=ACTION-CG-TV03DT_cat_Vests Yes it is a small plate carrier. But then again my g/f has a small frame, so it's all relative. Something like a CIRAS would look ridiculous. She uses an SD5 so those dual M4 pouches will carry three side by each or two doubled with a clamp. Keeps thing accessible and light; while being flexible and not cumbersome. |

Heh, sorry dude. It was a play on a "buy-a-wife/gf" scheme, completely non-serious, at least on this end!

On getting your significant other to play airsoft;
No relationship is without it's quabbles. Whenever she gets upset with you don goggles and gear and let her shoot you. Then let her know how physically taxing it is- it's a workout unto itself (works best for health concious people) and that with all the tactics involved (if you play with tactics) that it's also very mentally challenging. In the event that you have a very girly sort of girlfriend first take her camping; get her used to the outdoors... and try to avoid manicured/barbie dolled sorta of 'Like, omg, and then he like' types if having a partner who enjoys airsoft is important to you. And for females who have males who they want to ge tinto airsoft- that's a laugh. I'm yet to meet a guy who doesn't think it's cool. Even my gay uncle thinks it's all sorts of neat and said it would be interesting to try. (I showed him some pictures). M |
