Survey - Airsoft Inventory

Here's a question I have been thinking about for a while. This is your chance to give all of us retailers some input. This could be some good info for ALL of the retailers out there.

What would you like to see more readily available and stocked with the retailers?

I'm not asking specific items, but more general. For example:

TM AEG's, G&G accessories or AEG's, G&P Accessories or AEG's, CA, ICS, Systema parts, Metal bodies, metal slides, KSC, WA, ect......

Let us know if there is something out there that you are tired of ordering, and waiting 4 - 6 weeks for :hammer: I know we will get lots of different answers, however, if there are one or two particular items out there that are really taking the lead, then we could work on accommodating that for you.

PS – I will be without my computer for the long weekend (Feb. 17 – 20th) so I won’t be avail to check until after that, but hopefully you guys take a couple minutes to give us your input, and improve the selection and availability for all of you.

WA 1911s =)

obviously from me

BloodSport February 17th, 2006 03:32

I think AEG internals and upgrades, that is stocked more and not special order as often (maybe causing them to be slightly cheaper as they are brought in more bulk then 1 ofs). So far most of the upgrades I've order, have been on group orders to reduce the costs for the 1 of orders. Do knot if that would work for you guys due to the over head end, but it sure would make me but more from a retailer then waiting for a group order.

G&P AEGs and a more full line of KJW products, including the P226 and 1911A1.

SystemA full mechboxes? Some G&P accesories, including some various RDSs.

Maybe some Classic Army too.

yanhchan February 17th, 2006 07:46

Low priced BB loaders!

mcguyver February 17th, 2006 09:29

I think internal parts are a good choice. You never seem to be able to find them when you need them. A good FTK for under $250 is a good start, but common items like gear sets, head sets, motors and barrels, etc. Selectors and tappets are good to have around as well. I would think that between Systema, Gaurder, and maybe Hurricane on the lower end might be nice to see.

concept_8 February 17th, 2006 09:47

G&P aeg's,
CA aeg's,
Systema full mech boxes and parts/accessories,
Gaurder parts/accessories,
Maybe star aeg's and parts/accessories,
and Metal bodies would be great too.

Side note: It's always nice to see a retailer interested in what it's customers would like to see more of. Good on you Randy:)

Kwokwai February 17th, 2006 10:10

Some of the new Escort external air GBBs that utilize AEG mags! :D

Otherwise, sidearm repair/upgrade parts. Primarily for the most common models: M9, 1911, Glock, etc.

Edit: Bioval BBs for those who need bio-degradables. Apparently these are the best on the market for biodegradability.

DoctorDeath February 17th, 2006 10:11

Classic Army AEGs - it's time for people to realize how good the new ones are, all the retailers in Canada seem to think Classic Army sucks and won't carry them. Being the only retailer to stock the new M15s could bring in a lot of customers.

Some TM BBs, they are the best but no one here sells them. Would have to be a decent price though, I wouldn't pay 50% more than AE/KSC but maybe 10 or 20% more.

Cadpat kit.

JacoNB February 17th, 2006 11:40

Hard to find parts... like the elusive metal hop up for the MK1 Carbine, or a long barrel with a silencer, or a wood stock/grips kit...

Avenging Angel February 17th, 2006 12:24

I buy locally ALOT... ask Roger, lol... I'm in at seals usually twice a week buying stuff from Rangers, DEA and M1. Personally, I'd like to see more WA upgrade parts, accessories and mags. None of you guys ever seem to have anything for the WA guns. I've looked for extended slide releases, safeties, triggers, mags, loading nozzles, valves, mag rubber and have never been able to get any of it. =(

On a side note, I'd also recommend having order forms IN your stores so that people can order things. I've asked numerous times within the last 1.5 years to have items ordered but, they never seem to make it on the order list.

SHaKaL February 17th, 2006 12:43

New sniper rifle... like the kjw M700 and Tanaka AISC M700

Here's what you do, contact Roger directly, and tell him what you want put on the order. You can call him, or better, send him an e-mail. He has been very good with getting items on the orders. Also, if your a regular, and he knows it, then he for sure has no problem adding anything you like to the orders. WA parts are harder to get than most. They keep themselves more exclusive than most, but I will see what we can do for you.

Avenging Angel February 17th, 2006 12:48

Fantastic! Will do.

Yup I agree, stuff that's hard to come by would be good. No need to go part hunting for +1 year... Add to what JacoNB said some UZI parts and internals.

-Trooper- February 17th, 2006 14:26

I also think that sites should have a few conversion kits.

Shugart February 17th, 2006 15:11

A wider range of metal bodies. Or FMU products in general. I figure if retailers started bringing them in in bulk, prices would drop a bit making it easy to convert over to FMU.

Now of course the problem becomes, which guns do you start order metal kits for.

The Saint February 17th, 2006 17:43

Lots of 0.23g BBs. They're damn hard to get in Canada. Also, you sell Marushin 8mm pistols but not 8mm BBs, that's probably something to consider.

goughbrandon February 17th, 2006 19:31

classic army rifles #1, this is WHY i got my classic army rifle from the states, its impossible to find one in canada.
also pretty much all classic army accessories as well like mags

Lisa February 17th, 2006 19:51

Stuff like inner barrels, common parts that break.

DJ_Mittens February 17th, 2006 19:54

I'd say CA hardware and accessories. The only retailer I know of that actually has anything in stock is 007. Get some toys for them too, like rails, scopes, tac lights, everything. I'd just like a little bit more choice than just one retailer, even though 007 has fair prices for CA hardware.

Ooh! And stock regular upgrades, like metal slide and outer barrel for the KSC G19 for example. Just try to keep the popular items in stock, and the rarer items easier to come by, for the instances that people want them.

Pete February 17th, 2006 20:33

Probably won't be alot of people asking for this but what the hell...

Bolt action internals- cylinders, pistons, springs, trigger mech's

D_oo_S February 17th, 2006 22:22

Good priced metal bodies and quality metal outer barrels. Can't go wrong with those.

EMT February 18th, 2006 00:08

I'm having a hard time getting the KJW M700 and P226.. so a larger KJW selection would be awsome.

Rumpel Felt February 18th, 2006 02:58

I'd love to see more of everything but TM and KSC guns. It's time Canada catches up with the rest of the world and realizes TM is rip off.

It'd be extra sweet to have some rare guns come in like the Marushin shotguns.

Most importantly, all CA's lines should be in stock.

stokes February 18th, 2006 03:36

G&P and CA aegs is a must.... at a reasonable price.
Upgrade parts
Pistol Grips
M4a1 Rails for Handgaurds!!!!!!!!!!! So damn hard to find.
Aftermarket Handgaurds!!!!!

concept_8 February 19th, 2006 17:09

VFC's products are looking promising so some of those would be great......*cough* M60 *cough* ;)

attack-beaver February 19th, 2006 18:23

VFC HK416, MK-14 and M60 damnit.

Duckman February 20th, 2006 00:36

i'd like to see gas grenades, and repair kits for grenades and gbb bags. more of the less popular gbb mags and mag parts, particularly for WA stuff. lots of stuff for the 1911 family but how about the other stuff like the beretta family?
i'd replace seals on a regular basis to keep using propane.

DEA February 21st, 2006 10:28

Thanks for all the imput so far guys! I am taking all this info down, and will be seeing what I can do to make some of these idea's happen. Obviously, we can not make it all happen, but I will most probably take the comments that appear the most, and go from there. Appreciate your imput though. I know we are thinking of doing another Systema order in March here, so maybe that will take care of a few of these requests too:)
