Is it safe? www.FMA.hk
I created an account on this website: http://www.fma.hk/
Contacted them because my account email verification wasn't working. After logging on I messaged the site about it's prices. Apparently they're all in RMB (Chinese Yuan). When you do the conversion prices come out really good. Like $35 for most of the helmets. $7 for V-lites. Only problem is I can't get their checkout system to work. It takes me to Paypal Sandbox, which keeps the prices in USD? Just wondering if anyone has ordered anything off this site. It seems like its direct from the manufacturer? |
My anti virus programs tell me the site has a malware issue and won't let me access it... that could be an indicator right there...lol

Rruuuuuuuuuuunn!!!

On my browser, it said err_name_not_resolved
So I would nope nope nope, stay away |
DYE makes their goggles in China. DYE's financial problems could be prompting their goggle manufacturer to sell off the goggles through other channels. That needs to be confirmed.

I got a response when their checkout system didn't work:

Then you don't understand wholesale. |
I'd stay away from any vendor who sells fake tourniquets

To he fair, this is airsoft, we buy things mostly to emulate/simulate. Spending huge money on something one may never use is impractical for most so we can buy reasonable copies of things we don't need to stake our lives on. Would I buy a replica first aide kit? Nope cause I'll likely use it. Will I cary a deactivated grenade, perhaps if it fits my ww2 kit and adds that extra flare. Tourniquets, well if it's just to complete my seal team six load out and it's 1 10th the cost sure. But I personally spend a lot of time outdoors doing some extreme stuff so I'd buy real because it may prove life saving, tho I'm sure my belt or some cord or a torn strip of t shirt could also save my life, as well as the repro tourniquet. Not saying buy from them just saying their is a market for the stuff, so long as you aren't buying it at the shopper drug mart marketed as real I'd don't see the problem. We buy "ballistic" vests and helms that wouldn't stop an angry fruit fly, we buy em knowing they are "fake" and without the intention of them saving our lives, because they are 1 10th the cost.

The way it was described in the email, my understanding is that the website was set up as a catalogue for dealers of their products, not as a consumer-grade wholesale website. I was easily able to log in with my regular email and see all of their wholesale prices. Plus the fact that the front page is designed like any other retail website; a scrolling lightbox with the newest products, and a full cart/checkout system, I was easily confused into thinking it was just another HK website I could order gear from. |

Any pricing on the paintball goggles

I've had this happen on another site before (non-airsoft related) that had verification through some kind of paypal related authentication system.
I click on the check out button and it redirects you to the main page, or does not authorize you to proceed. This usually means their license has been revoked or some form of verification has been removed to prevent the merchant from dealing until they've cleared up their problems. Immediate red flag? |

Doesn't matter though, you can't buy from them. |

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Urba...1944202197723/ https://www.reddit.com/r/paintball/c..._the_fake_i4s/ Summary: For the paintball test, within 10 (paintball) hits, the structure of the mask was already disfigured, leaving gaps between the lens and the frame, torn hardware and a cracked lens. I have a real dye I4 and its probably taken 100s of (paintball) hits and I have yet to see it fail like the fake has done in the test. Airsoft test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEvr07nlnjk Seems to hold up soso in the lens department, but the grill seems to be totally defeated. Based on how the fella in the video handles the mask, the mask material seems "floppier"/softer than the real thing. |
