From all the years I've been around, I still think that the best thing that could happen to your team is to be recognize as a responsible team wearing nice gear and looking like a real force.

Try buying gear and playing other than with yourself.

dumbjun : Nice field I gotta say.

I take it you have never actually played airsoft before, except with possibly some backyard buddies.

i have played before it is just they are all wearing the same camo. i was just saying my opinion.

sir, you will be staying very close to where we play. if you want we can arrange a game for you and visit other team play site. there are about 12 play site here in manila. Myself i live at makati, fort bonifacio but we play at quezon city.

most airsoft teams play during wednesday, saturday and sunday. just send me a line if you wish to play here.

i'll just send you more details when you come here.

dumbjun August 16th, 2005 01:57

sir if you wish to know more about our team here in the philippines you may do so by accessing our website at http://specwar.proboards46.com.

you might get surprised how strong our guns are here.

I heard that Philippines can have real guns kept in home and airsoft is somehow illegal, is that true?

Nocturnal August 16th, 2005 02:59

lol .. basically its easier to obtain real firearms than airsoft..
the difference is that you wouldn't go running around with real guns shooting people o_O or would you?

anyway... the guns are tuned to shoot harder in the philippines but that doesnt mean they dont wear protection. their rules.. their game =)
id still like to play a game of airsoft there.. maybe ill visit my grandparents sometime there =p

Grim Fandango August 16th, 2005 07:00

Welcome to ASC. I was just wondering what kind of camo the guy in the last picture is wearing?

jonglory August 16th, 2005 10:07

Got your cousin's name, Carlos Tiu. Can you PM your name/first and sir name.
Did track a few local TIU but they do not have relative in the Philippines. I'm doing calls for you for BC local, anything out of town...you'll have to phone in yourself...it's LD for me and it's quite costly.

Will keep you posted by PM.

Cheers!

sad to say but true. we can own real guns and keep at home or even get permit to carry from the police but we cannot sell airsoft guns here. but there is a loop hole ther is no rule regarding ownership. that is why we are undergoing talks with the police to allow us or give us permits to transport or AEG's.

You Dont Have To Bring Your Aegs Here Becuace Teh Police Will Confiscate It At The Airport It Would Be Best If You Rent An Aeg Here Its Only 500 Bucks For The Whole Day. Teh Exchange Rate I Think Is 30 Pesos For Every Canadian Dollar. Bb Are Very Cheap Also.

While it is so, we've got strict laws that prohibit anyone from wearing it in wargames IIRC.

Strange though is that we've got a team that has a member whose relatives are in the police force and wear their camos.

Cheers!

You've been here since 2004 and you're ressurecting threads?
