Hi guys It's a newbie here. :) is there any chance admin can change my ASC user name? I've search the whole forum and i cant find any topic about. If any admin read this pls PM me so i can send you and ask you to change it for me. Thanks guys

Actually, I never wanted a name change, bean just finds it funny to change my name to something different when ever he feels like it. Now he ran out of ideas and just changes my user title when he gets bored or if I annoy him. Ether way his still a faggot.

I met a bunch of new airsofters randomly downtown that were pretty new and naive. I told them to look up my user name "jordan7831" on here so I could give them advice like where not to buy and what not to do when starting out.

This site has taught me and given back to me a lot over the years and I want to be able to help some newbies just like how people helped me here.

Mods can`t change usernames, unfortunately; only a small handful of top tier staff can.

Im okay with the point an Lol period. I find it pretty funny myself. I just want to be able to get in contact with the people I met so I can help so new people out. I remember when I was new and people helped me out so I just want to give back.

Your abuse of power as admins is seriously pathetic and your lack of character is astonishing. These guys just asked if their damn usernames could be changed and you take that and give them ridiculous names and when they ask it to be changed to something more of their liking, you just say "you'll think about it". Some are meeting other airsoft people in this community and look unprofessional because they have to introduce themselves as these stupid mal-thought out names. You could have just said no if you didn't want to change their names, which is obviously very simple since you've done it repeatedly. You guys give airsofters a bad name, when newbies trying to join the sport get treated like this on the forums. This isn't high school, so stop acting like idiots and stop this bullshit.

BTW, I know you're probably going to change my username, but as it currently states, I don't care at all, it only makes you both look more pathetic. Ban me and I'll just register as another user...continue and maybe your names will be changed too, who knows what will happen...

We should have a "if I was admin topic" where people can post the ways in which they'd abuse their powers. The most cruel suggestions get picked as forum moderators.

You know what's pathetic? Someone that's so upset about having his name changed on an airsoft forum that he registers 4 separate accounts in order to post dumb shit because he thinks it bothers us...where each account also requires creation of a unique email address. So this clown is registering email addresses just so he can keep creating new accounts, only to have them banned.

I kinda wanted to get my user name changed because I didn't realised that English speakers don't understand the sound of the letter "LL" when I registered... :P

Oh well too bad.

Of course we can change user names; We do it all the time....you'll note that this kind of thing only happens to drama queens who post about how it sucks so bad that they gave themselves a ridiculous name, and want it changed because it's dawned on them that the name they go by here is the name they'll be known by on the field. You'll also note, the OP didnt' have his name mod-changed at all, only those who literally asked for it after the fact.

Seriously...go to the userlist and look for SNIPER (244 variations) or DELTA (80 variations), or any variations of either (deltasniper, elitedeltasniper, deltalsniper1, 17337deltasniper, etc).

I chose my handle in 1998. I needed to put something there, so I chose something I thought sounded cool. I've been "MadMorbius" on here ever since, and Morb to anyone who knows me.

The other classic is kids who state their birth date as 5-10 years earlier so they can appear to be 18, only to realize with horror that they will indeed need to prove that claim at some point.

Due to IDontCare's outbursts/trolling, we can't change names now or it will look like we caved to this sort of pressure tactic, which would only incite others to attempt the same thing to obtain what they want (what's next? down with AVs? games for 8 year olds?)

Those who aren't getting their names changed now, I suggest you go to UofT and find this guy. And, you know... discuss the issue. :P


OR, since we know its an existing user (the accounts were created just to post in this thread), THAT person could just come clean and not have others punished for his/her shortsighted actions.

I chose my username in 2001, and I've had to live with it ever since. It's especially awful in real life when you have to say your username (I've been on/created several communities over the last decade). You can usually avoid it with a "oh hey, how about you give me your username instead, and I'll message you".

Getting AVed was pretty embarrassing. It's one thing to have to casually mention your username, but when you're standing in front a guy that is holding your ID that fully represents you in the real world, staring you up and down to make sure you match the picture, it's pretty awkward to meekly tell him you're some powerful force of nature with a mysterious X at the end.

I've been quoting some of the name changes to people and we've all been getting big laughs from it!

I got excited when I saw that name changes could happen again. I used this one for a while but changed it a few years back (everywhere but here). Now some douch has screwed that up.

For those who want name changes there will be an scheduled name change later. However as the admins arent motivated to do it on our own and you just end up with horrible names we are going to be doing it as a charity event. Basically you donate money that will go to Wounded Warrior and we change your name. There may just may be a chance to bid on changing certain admins names for a set period of time.

We did it! Because Jordan embraced his new name, people have their old names back, AND we've almost seized the power to turn the tables on the admins!
