Just finished putting my CQB death machine back together after painting. I sandblasted the upper/lower and used Arma-Coat meant for real steel. Very pleased with the result! Super hard finish and almost impossible to scratch with a screwdriver (I tried it on the inside :P)

very nice. is your battery still up front? i'm struggling to figure out what you're using since the delta ring is there, but the handguard cap seems to be inside the rail.

The latest iteration of my Diablo, similar to XZIVR's with the 416 stubby stock. The only thing remaining from the original Diablo is the outer barrel, RIS, selector, and mechbox shell. Completely gutted externally and internally otherwise. Buying parts from Stealth's store finally stabilized this build ;)

Quite frankly, I don't like it. It's a weird mix of early 2000's stuff (CompM2, LMT BUIS, mag coupler) with more modern stuff (TD grip, Crane, stock, KAC handstop). Plus a 20rnds mag on a blaster quite clearly setup for direct action. And the CompM2 looks weird without the front flip-up cover. But they, that's my opinion since you asked for it :) The pictures themselves are great! |

Even though the base gun is the same, the Aimpoint cover, short TD grip instead of KAC (or long TD), short mag/coupler, KAC handstop are quite significant differences ;)

I don't need 2 references points.
I use KAC hand stop on the front like hand guard. Last year, I've broken index finger. I slip on the floor and hit the front of carabine to the open window frame. Of course i can use dedicated Magpul Strike guard but i dont like it. |

@dutch13, it's a Vector Optics FFP 1~4 Scope, with 4.9 inches eye relif, very comfortable to use, I can actually use it as a dot sight. @ghostnote, you are right! it is a blue force gear padded sling with MS3 Sling clip. the MS3 is a good sling, however I prefer BFG sling when I carry a heavy gun like this in the woods, so I murdered my MS3 ... Tank |
How much does that thing weigh then? It doesn't look very heavy.

Top-Started out as a JG m4. Madbull ultimate hop-up, madbull 6.03 inner barrel, Troy upper, Noveske firepig(painted black), Noveske 10.5 RIS, ACM 'surefire' w/ pressure pad, ACM battery stock, ACM 552, ACM FTS magnifier and FAB magwell grip. This is my CQB beastie.
Middle-Started out as an APS m4. Minor internal upgrades. FDE Magpul handguard, pistol grip and stock. I've since sold this one. Bottom-Started out as a G&G m4. Minor intenal upgrades. Madbull 6.01 500m inner barrel, ACM supressor(185mm I think) and ACM Spectre DR 1-4x. I still need to get a riser for the scope and more paint to finish the paintjob. This is for a CSOR impression I'm putting together. |
