Tokyo Marui has given a sneak peak of the new products that will be unveiled at the 2011 Hobby Show. Starting from top clockwise we have a new 1911 GBB of some variant, an FDE variant of the Daniel Defense RECCE?, XDM 45 ACP and finally the SCAR-H.

XDM! fina-fuck*#$-lly, dare I say.

slink182 October 5th, 2011 19:21

XDM?! HELL YEAH!! Latest variation of the XD.
Where do I stand in line to buy one?! After my 1911's, the XD's (and variants) are my favourite pistols to shoot!

Death March October 5th, 2011 19:59

plus, I seem to have a knack for Czech designed pistols ;)

Death March October 5th, 2011 20:14

Yeh but Springfield arms bought the rights to the XDM pistols, smart move on there part! It didn't sell well under the 2000 name or whatever they called it way back when lol. First time I shot one was down in Vegas, first time I lifted it and fired off 5 shot's in a nice tight group I knew it was a sweet shoot'n gun. It had a nice point and shot set up for me.

Eien October 5th, 2011 20:30

Boo.. no M&P yet.

that'll be the day when we aren't stuck with that NBB version...

SuperCriollo October 5th, 2011 20:52

What's up with that 1911 ? Maybe it is full metal ? :)

Styrak October 5th, 2011 20:53

So the only new thing they're releasing is the XDM.
Typical current TM.

I'm putting my money on a "centennial" special edition.

TaroBear October 5th, 2011 21:24

That 1911 looks like brushed metal to me.

IF this is what it is, did I miss something, (japanese) regulations wise?

TaroBear October 5th, 2011 22:04

Apparently Marui has released a few metal guns in Japan already.

Metal rifles are legal, but full metal pistols are still illegal here.

TaroBear October 5th, 2011 22:40

Ah. There goes that idea.

Could be half metal like the hi-capas.

Conker October 5th, 2011 23:03

Yey more not-new stuff :D

Big in Japan October 13th, 2011 02:31

It's the first time they actually show it off :) so I guess we can expect them soon!

Really? That explains a lot.

And...

Ooh, revolvers. However, it's a bit of a shame that no one's really offering anything other than chunky magnums.

For some reason, I'm rather partial to the M92 with the compensator, but dislike the discs set into the grips.

slink182 October 13th, 2011 19:36

That XDm looks gorgeous!
DO. WANT!

(also, hoping that a metal upper kit comes out for it - it'd be a shame if it was only available in plastic...)

tell yourself that at least, the frame on the RS is polymer so it's going to be waaaaay less trouble upgrading it to metal.

Eien October 15th, 2011 01:12

I can't read Japanese but I saw a picture with M9's... is TM re-releasing their M9?

Disco_Dante October 15th, 2011 01:52

It's the Barry Burton M9 from the Kendo Custom shop in Resident Evil ;)

vink October 15th, 2011 04:01

Those new AEGs from TM are amazing! That M4 battery system is sick. The bolt locks for the last round is pretty awesome.
