wow just got my tm g36c

the quality & weight are great, love the way the mag clips in. i was happy to see my weaver rail tac light & laser fit on this rail to, also my tasco 42mm red dot sight, but i think ill get a different one another time. ken from 007 airsoft was great & helped me out bigtime! ive found my charger the tlp all in one, so if anyone knows where i can get a new 9.6v 1500 mah for the g36 point me that way please. now its time to check it out more :-D

hansrohleder June 2nd, 2005 15:09

Yeah the G36 is great, I love mine. I notice 007airsoft is dealing a lot in "special edition" upgraded weapons. Is that what yours is, or is it stock?

As for batteries try going to a local hobby shop. Remote cars and crap like that run on the same kind of batteries sometimes. Here in winnipeg we have a place called "battery man" and he'll make any sort of custom battery you want for a lot cheaper then what you'll find on websites.

royal marine June 2nd, 2005 15:46

i got a pdi 150 spring metal bushings & reinforced gears, ken was great to deal with. he didnt have a battery in stock at the mo. so ill look around. that pin that keeps the handguard on seems it could easily be lost at a field, or is that not the case, it just pushes out.

hansrohleder June 2nd, 2005 18:03

My push pin on the front is about as easy to take out as it was with my real C-7. Both of which I've never had problems with, I think you can buy a seperate one to replace it if you lose it.

You can always pour some Pepsi on it and make it all sticky so you'll never lose it ;-)

royal marine June 2nd, 2005 18:11

ahh good i dont like coke anyway thanks :-D

tax June 2nd, 2005 19:52

let me know how it goes

hansrohleder June 2nd, 2005 23:50

You can get a sling sent to Canada from Specter. I just did it a while ago, I don't know where you saw it said no orders to Canada. All you have to do is e-mail him your order and he'll send you back a shipping quote then pay for it with pay-pal.

Though I have yet to recieve it in the mail so I can't be %100.

Really? Where? I've looked for local places without luck....

Duckman June 3rd, 2005 00:46

royal..just to let you know...the sling's that tax is talking about are of hte one point variety where you clip it to a D ring on your vest or rig. it works well and morbius is an awsome tactical seamSTER. he's made several for me and i still have gear to bug him about which is offering some technical difficulty but the man has skills.
