What kind of flash hider should I choose?
 

I'm stuck on choosing what kind of flash hider I want to get for my CA SCAR.
Opinions?

Dont get the Shark it might look badass but trust me when isay no-one will walk in front of you and if you ever happen to stick yourself with it well lets just say it hurts like hell and leaves a nasty unclosable hole in you.

Why exactly wont anyone walk in front of you?

Ask my brother............ if the person in front of you suddenly stops well they get impaled and usually ends up gettin a little pissy. Dont blame him really but now no one will walk in front of me.............lol

Isn't your gun supposed to be pointed AWAY from your teammates. Lol.

Ya usually but cercumstances had us running and engaging and it was a total fluke he zigged when i zagged but needless to say it happened and the end result is everybody gets to hear the story of how nobody should walk in front of me with that muzzle break on usually after ya give him a few beers 8) a couple more he will show ya the scar 8)

Had the exact same experience with the "shark", tore a gaint hole through my bdu. Like a hot knife through butter

For a SCAR I'd pick something from the AAC menu.

Whatever you do, Firepig is starting to become far too common.

Firepig is not really a flahshider is it? More of a novelty item that will give your location away if that's your thing. I run with one when we play attack and defend but for most other games I put the stock flashider back on.

When I had my SCAR, I really wanted this one.

Personally I love the Shark. I had it on my G36 and now it's on my M249.

They are not flash hiders except the Noveske Flash suppressor. They are muzzle breaks. The last one is a tampon applicator.

As cool as they may look, don't get anything sharp. As mentioned above you can seriously hurt someone if your not careful and even if you are. I personally have had someone I was flanking turn and run around a corner right into me, we both fell and he landed on my muzzle like a punji spike- full body weight. Fortunately I just had a regular birdcage on mine. If I'd had something sharp on the front of mine he'd be less a kidney right now and I'd probably have a room mate named Bubba. There's a reason that they put rubber bayonets on airsoft AKs'. Personally if someone opened me up with one of those things, he be making a trip to the dentist afterwards.
