Eagle Plate Carrier Molle + Cummerbund, good?

http://www.skdtac.com/Eagle_Plate_Ca..._p/eag.568.htm

Hi guys, I want to buy a good plate carrier; I have a Condor Quick Release plate carrier and its not really... Wathever, I was watching on SKDTAC and found this one, does anybody have a review or comment on it? I would like to buy it in CB.

Thanks for your time and sorry for my poor english lol.

i'm pretty sure they have a lifetime garranty, that's got to say something.
also, if you google it, you'll find that they are mostly used by cops and military. also has to say something.

i don't own one, but i was looking at getting one. from what i've read they are popular among cops who keep a kit in their cars, and constantly have to move it around. duribilty seems top notch, as well as comfort.

I've owned two Plate Carriers from Eagle Industries. If you tire of the cummerbund, you can easily remove it. They are great. SKD ships pretty quick too, if it's in stock. Buy it.

They're getting harder to get, if it's in stock don't hesitate and buy it now

I have been running one for almost 4 years with steel plates and love it to death. It's not ripping or tearing anywhere, and hasn't deformed even with the steel (7 pounds each).

Conker March 7th, 2011 12:23

It's Eagle, sure it's good! ;)

Same here. I've abused mine heavily with zero issues

Nakes March 7th, 2011 15:56

Yeah, I have one too, it's awesome. You won't regret buying one.

Mind telling me where you got the plates? I want a pair :P

Although I have never owned this specific model, I have owned a bunch of Eagle gear over the years, and all of it has been absolutely top notch!

I'm sure this rig would be great!

FOX_111 March 9th, 2011 16:39

You can trust your life on EI gear.

Viteq March 9th, 2011 17:33

Conker March 9th, 2011 17:39

Skdtac, Greygroup, Optactical, and Triad Tactical are some.

Viteq March 9th, 2011 18:33

Find one on Triad Tactical! Waiting next week for my paychec and it's gona be mine! Thanks Conker!

I got them in the US back before they had multistrike ceramics

Gato March 10th, 2011 12:23

Anyone know where I could get some training plates? I like the weight but I don't want to run my real ones for airsoft, they're not something I can replace if I break them :P

FOX_111 March 10th, 2011 12:59

I too would be interested. I got no response from the major retailers. I don't know if the US sellers can export them.

I did not find any canadian retailer for this type of thing.

Nakes March 10th, 2011 16:07

You can find lots of the Blue Point blank training plates on ebay. That's where I got mine.

But yeah, good luck finding a retailer in canada selling them. You'll probably have to suck up an overseas shipping cost.

FOX_111 March 10th, 2011 22:56

It's more about their export law... Some of the trainning plate have a protection level.
Even the "inert" one could be problematic.

I got mine from France with no problems at all. the pointblanc ones are dense laminated foam with thin ceramic in the middle, and plainly state 'NO BALLISTIC PROTECTION'

I had no problems, they were declared and everything.
