I'ver heard good stuff about this one. http://www.oneshottactical.com/Merch...ry_Code=BlueFG

I have an Eagle vest as my low drag setup and it's super nice quality gear.

Shifty-C February 20th, 2011 13:56

Condor gear is cheap and decent quality and they have a few rigs for under 100.

Conker February 20th, 2011 14:02

Eeeh... especially considering how affordable that Eagle vest is, I would DEFINITELY get Eagle over that Condor anyway.

XPknight February 20th, 2011 14:45

I looked at the Condor line and wondered if there was anything else. Thanks for all the info guys.

try blackhawk rig, this one here, eight mags built in, extra mag pouches can be mounted on the molle.

http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Mod...-Rig,854,2.htm

it can also be opened up and a back plate attached to become a full rig if you want it.
been running it for a few month, awesome rig.

Eien February 20th, 2011 17:45

Eagle Universal Chest Rig. Enough said.

CDN_Stalker February 20th, 2011 17:48

Agreed, Eagle Universal Chest Rig, used my khaki one for about 4 years and it's well worth the cheap price, very flexible in use and not too bulky, even for a sniper to use.

sarosh February 20th, 2011 18:04

hey just decided to buy the eagle universal chest rig, just have one question, theres no straps to hold the m4 mags? do they fall out easily?

oniwagamaru February 20th, 2011 18:55

no not mine anyway.

CDN_Stalker February 20th, 2011 18:57

There are really strong elastic bands on the outside of the pouches, enough to make inserting two mags a bit of a struggle. You are good to go. I recall mine came with velcro straps too but were a pain to use on my MP5 mags so I took them off and stashed them.

Canadian Psycho February 20th, 2011 20:02

The center two pouches have no straps, but the elastic strapes hold them very tight. The outer two mag pouches have straps, as well as the radio pouches at either end. I have one and use it alost exclusivly.

ex February 20th, 2011 20:07

The eagle rig is a great choice BUT if you can get the SKD tactical version it's even better. The two outer pouches are removed and replaced with molle so that you can put anything you want there or nothing at all.

I'll echo this, but you have to move when you see them in stock. They move fast.

CDN_Stalker February 20th, 2011 23:45

Ya, I forgot about the SKD version (made by Eagle), much more flexible it it. The standard one, aside from using the long 'designed for big fucking radio pouches' being used to hold my Mk23 once in a while, I found them to not be very useful overall unless you feel like spending the time to dig into them. But can be used as a quick dump pouch if needed, or to hold a rolled up map or something. Been too long since I've played to remember what I was last using them for, I may have just been using them to carry air around.

yeah but you have to add pouches...

also if you look at the link t7 provided it included 4 deluxe taco pouches

TokyoSeven February 21st, 2011 02:26

I just thought it would be a better link since it showed what it would look like.
Besides, taco pouches are awesome.

Anyways, if you have your own pouches the A.O is super slim line and would keep you under budget. If not then I suppose some cheaper mag pouches could be easily purchased with the remainder of the 100.

TokyoSeven February 21st, 2011 02:41

Now I want tacos...the food kind of tacos.

Rugger_can February 21st, 2011 02:49

You want low profile you want blue force gear ten speed rig. Gimme spittle time I'll find a Canadian retailer and some images. It's super low profile and low drag. It's available in a few patters and colours and is around 90 us pre shipping. It holds 6 armalite mags.

Thanks Farmboy, I remember seeing it on "a" website, but it was hard to remember which one.

Cheers.

Check out Mayflower R&C; they're really pushing low-profile, lightweight rigs rather than super heavy duty and covered in unnecessary MOLLE webbing.

Is there an accessory to make this into a H Harness? or would it be difficult for one to mod it yourself?

tunabreath February 24th, 2011 02:59

YouTube - Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed chest rig

Probably THE lightest chest rig bar none, and extremely low profile.
Around 80 bucks for a real one, or 20 for the china clone.

FYI the Webtex chest rig is a cheap copy in itself!
