I'd blame the retailers, but its also the community to blame. They will go wild over a news article about a minor caught with an airsoft gun...but they will support those retailers to save a few bucks.
If people really cared about the long term of this game, they wouldn't fold their ideals over a few dollars in their wallets.

We all piss and moan over how soccer moms are going to bury this game, but its the retailer and the community thats going to finish the job.

A quick thought from a newb who can't seem to find a way to get face to face with an age verifier: Why not just take credit card orders only? Can't get plastic in Canada unless you're 18+. I'm sure most of you who are verified and enjoying all the benefits thereof probably don't have or want credit but some of us old bastids have more credit than time to meet a verifier.

(Yes, I know it's off topic but this sub topic's been brought up here so...)

Im fairly sure you can get a credit card when your 16. You just need your parents to co sign for it.

Prepaid mastercard, only have to be 16 to get one...not sure if they act the same way as regular credit cards, but just another reason to keep the Age Verification system.
