I think i recall reading or hearing someplace that it would work off of the guns battery, not sure if this means it will use the trigger as a switch to activate it or what. If it is self powered (with its own battery) then we have options as we will only need a switch, perhaps sound activated like box mags? Who knows. Now that I mostly gbbr I find the realism of those enough for my needs. Would run one on an aeg but not an m203, if it was an m320 id be all over it (im an H&K lover and would never mount a 203 on a 416 lol)
If stealth wasnt as important id love this on my BA. Imagine hearing the report of a rifle just as yer teammate yells hit and then tryin to zero in on the location? Would mean alot more evassion skills would be needed for the airsoft sniper. Sound like fun to me lol

Okay I have a couple of questions here. Will this be legal in Canada? If so will it be imported into Canada? Just about everybody I know has been waiting for this and I'm one of them. This could be almost a Concord moment for Airsoft, especially Milsim.

Are some groups ready for it? Yes! Groups where people are already using ear pro/ need a small push into it, and are playing well outside of cities who have good relationships with their neighbors and local RCMP, ship 'em tomorrow.

I could see these as being pretty neat for milsim. Just for the realism factor, but I'm already satisfied with most of my GBBRs. Hell, with a firepig, my M16A3 sounds like a bloody cannon.

As for the general public... it's been said already; the last thing we need is some stupid underage kid and his friends blasting each other in public with these and having every soccer mom in the town calling the police. We don't need that kind of negative publicity yet again.
