Finished my build there. Ended up going with a Dytac Smr 4 rail instead of the UXR 4 after a friend expressed a lot of interest in it. Luckily my short attention span coincided his interest. Really liking the mk4, may even have to put the mk5 on my lonely 10" barreled reciever for the g&g.
Anyway, pictures tonight with the acog'd block 2 |

I want a 9.5" mk4 smr now
|
Airsoftparts.ca has the 9.5 mk5 one with keymod now! Might have to get one for my 10" g&g receiver

I want a Zack or Wilkie to paint my guns if I ever get an AR... lol
I'm sorta curious, how heavy is the black AR Wilkie? |
There were people on Dytac's FB page claiming that their keymod accessories don't spec with the keymod slots on Dytac rails.
Sounds like they shit the bed again. I dont really like the look of their rail segments either AND they're polymer. I like that slope on the mk4's integrated rails. I skipped on the Dytac segments hoping to find something else compatible. I ordered the 9.5 mk5 anyways. |

I was given an old busted WE closed bolt, and I went and converted it to Open Bolt, and shortend the hell out of it. Got some free time in the shop this week, so I'll be crowning the barrel and finishing the sight pin grooves. Super short AR. Based on the MicroCar by Bishop.
http://i.imgur.com/Lcf3tTh.jpg On the other hand, does anyone know where to by CHEAP free float tubes in Canada? no one I found ships from the states and they can be had as little as $40 over there... I just don't want to have to machine my own... REFERANCE: http://www.quarterbore.com/images/micro-car.jpeg |
